from what i recall, Okazaki was innocent and pure from what Nora perspective (this is reinforced when she rejects Yuki for being too ill natured, unlike Okazaki).
Also he was, i think, the first "prey" of Nora's as it doesnt show her taking blood from anyone else, maybe im wrong. (this doesnt seem too good of a reason though)
She turned him, she was the only person that was more mature into the whole vampire world and could’ve helped him, she was calm, which suited him. Then for 10 years her call was what kept him saint, that he spent so many years with her, i find it natural to develop things like that
Entertaining ending but as he mentions, i wish he tried to give us a more concrete idea of happiness by the end. Its a bit of a problem with this and inside mari. Dude overpromises on a premise and makes said premise super engaging then the conclusion is half baked.
