10/10 for sure
What a Damn 10/10 episode. I am so happy that this was adapted properly specially the 2nd half where the animation, music, twists were adapted so damn good. Props to Lerche.
So, what did you think of the episode?
10/10 for sure
Really cool episode. They focused on certain scenes, rather than trying to adapt everything, but this also meant they cut some things out, which worked pretty well in the end. Good animation, music, and plot twists worked better because they focused on adapting the most important scenes properly, so all-around a great episode, but was it really necessary to cut Manabu and Nagumo's dialogue down to "catch you later senpai", like come on, he's not some unimportant character. They better fully adapt his speech in the next episode, and not just wait for the next season.
yeah not enough nagumo +_+
best episode of the season i think
A fan who wasn't here for the "spread your legs" scene? I'm not sure I understand. As a light novel reader, I anticipated E3 so much.
nah i was def a fan, Ep 3 and this one are easily the best so far, but I just think Ep 6 takes it by a bit
That's a fair opinion, I was just teasing
Was hoping to see the "The situation is completely different compared to when I
had continued running indifferently in that cold, inhuman room" quote
but pretty good ep overall
Yeah more of a flashback would have been nice. But for the like 30 sec of screen time they used it well.
Light novels are slow so I see why the anime goes much faster but it still could have been amazing in two episodes to give us more time to think.
Seeing Kushida's other side honestly send chills down my spine tbh, was properly adapted from the light novel as well.
By far the best episode, Ayanokouji is beginning his debut...
Dialogue heavy episode that showcased plenty of character development between cast members. The events occuring were very engaging to follow especially the after credits scene. Kushida's seiyuu nailed her performance. I think its the best one that we have gotten from the season, it followed a simple to understand structure and had viewers engaged throughout. Sure there were some wonky scenes during race(before Manabu Vs Kiyo) but they did not distract you from enjoying the episode.
~Good episode. I liked a lot kushida"s other side.~~~
~Bro what?~
That face though. When is it from?
He looks like Horikita every time she forgets then remembers she's Ayanokouji's bitch.
From when Horikita punches him in the gut after he tries to make excuses for why he was running so fast.
How the fuck is Kikyou bitch. Fantastic episode.
I love Ayanokouji's act that he's a pushover that's scared to death by his hand on a uniform. Kushida falling for it and not seeing Ayanokouji's mastermind makes me hate her even more. I mean she knows he's cunning more than anyone else does but she acts like she's not worried about him.
I must say I was somewhat apprehensive about this ep before watching it but they definitely did a pretty good job with the adaptation. The race between Ayanokoji and Manabu was also pretty good, and while the ep didn't have particuarly very good animations as I was expecting from the climax ep of the arc, it was still good enough for me. I also really like how they chose to show more content while the ED played in the background, such a re:zero moment. Overall the arc was not a very good adaptation of the LN but still enjoyable, especially this episode. Hopefully they give volume 7 the best adaptation possible
Yea the animation didnt make the race look as epic as it should ve been but yeah pretty good episode so far
Compared to the last episode this was a lot better. I'm still sad the sports scenes had no screen time and that Nagumo and Sakayanagi also had little to no screen time. They keep nailing Ryuuen and Kushida which is excellent, and Horikita felt like the actual character of the LN this time. I still have a problem with how Sudou was handled this arc. Not as devastatingly pathetic as the last episode but this episode actually felt like a good try at adapting the last chapters of vol5...
Now is the question of whether the next arc will flop or not...
Edit: I will give credit where it's due because this episode was good.
Wait are you saying Horikita acts more like this in the previous material in the LN as well? It did actually feel like she grew as a character this episode which was nice. I really hope they keep this growth.
Nice Yelan pfp btw
Horikita felt a little off in the last episode but that was probably because they just cut out a lot of content from episode 5. They didn't cut the important stuff from this episode so she felt consistent with what she's supposed to be in the LN if you get what I'm saying.
That uno reverse card at the end!!!
Amazing episode, probably the best adapted so far including season 1.
Hopefully the "Ryuen arc gets all the budget because it has been a disappointment so far
best episode so far
This season is gonna be the best season ever.... Race with Horikita Manabu and Fight with Class C :))
Damn that ending! I was really scared for a sec, I was like nooooo Horikita can't take another L, then my man came in at the last second got them real good. I can't wait to see where this goes!
will hiyori be in next episod? pls
She will be in ep 8 probably, i think
that’s too long…
Suzune keeps acting like she's better than everyone else while consistently making the lowest IQ plays
Wait didn’t they cut out sakayanagi dialogue? T.T
imbecile epi

Animation Perfection
Ryuen pulled an "uno-reverse card" on Horikita, just to get "uno-reverse card'ed" back by "A".
Cote fans are this hung up on seeing women get raped?
No one was r*ped. He was just proving that he could
Oh I see!
