Is Hajime no Ippo close to finishing?

  i mean i haven't read it yet and this is a whole different show
  but from what i remember in megalobox even after he retires(i think that happens) he comes back for some matchs

  so idk it could be close to ending it might not though

  i’m around chapter 1388 of ippo and it doesn’t seem like it’s ending anytime soon.

    I bet Hajime no Ippo will end near 2500 chapters minimum maximum 3200 chapters hehe.

  It's not even close, at the current point Hajime himself has to be in at least 5-6 more fights before it can end. He also has to hold hands with his GF.
