Animation is still extremely off in a lot of places
Agreed
Outsourced was more to 10second
Yeah though i'd say it was def better than ep 2
well paced ngl
Seems like todays ep was also outsourced but it was much better than ep 2 which was also outsourced. Overall pacing is pretty decent so far and I have no complaints with how they're adapting it except for the outsourcing but i'm gonna assume that's cuz they're focusing on animating the significant moments this season
Agreed really liked this episode. Cant wait to see ayanokoji plan carried out
Its not action anime outsourcing its shame
They changed the effects of the grade rankings, so only the winner gets 50CPt, with no deduction for third and fourth place, I think. Otherwise, a pretty well-paced episode with some questionable animation and Nagumo will finally be introduced in the next episode. Looking forward to it!
Well... It wasn't a bad episode but as @Ultra said it was outsourced.
what does outsourced mean? sorry if i sound stupid
I'm assuming the studio paid people out of house to animate this episode while in house they work on other (hopefully more important) episodes. But I didn't even know this was a practice in Anime until just now.
art and animation was so wonky
Surprised the fan base didn’t hype up Ayanokouji almost making Horikita trip as the scene that was going to blow up on Twitter and make everyone lose their minds
Hahaha true, I was reading stuff about how the world will burn after the next episode and I was expecting something crazy, and well, Ayanokoji is smart, cool
Hahaha literally. Also love the hades PFP!
A big compliment from an Actual Greek God descendant, thank you!
How many changes that they did from the LN already? I can't keep up haha. But it's understandable I guess. It's for the safety of this anime from being cancelled/getting rioted by the publics
Could you expand further on that statement? What was in the LN that needed to be changed for the anime so people don't freak out as much?
nothing in the ln would cause cancellation or riots or even close to be honest
Talking about the scene where Ayanokouji makes Karuizawa his next bitch. He pretends to start raping her in the original.
And in season 1 it's fact that Ayanokouji set Horikita to be beat up by Ibuki so she has to retire.
Are they skipping Hirata's motivation for pretending to be Karuizawa's boyfriend? For any readers that forgot it's his friend's suicide in middle school.
I do like how Ayanokouji actually hides his role in the anime. As a whole, I think the anime is better because the characters speak fewer words, they know less about each other, and you have to infer and predict more about them.

My major gripe really is the artstyle. The artstyle and how they drew the characters in S1 of the anime was the reason I got hooked into Cote to begin with. S1 characters looks sharp and the Eyes!! especially the eyes. S2 artstyle however got rid of literally everything, They simplified the artstyle to the point it looks cheap looking with barely any details. And got rid of the eyes!!!
also pacing sucks bc of course it does but I can let that one slide bc at least they did s2 and upcoming s3
I like the pacing and suspense more than season 1, but man is it washed out. the dub sounds completely different and it kills me. It’s really not bad though so far, the sub is actually really good.
The episode was good enough it was outsourced and still really good. You guys complain a lot
oooooooh ok tysm.
