Is this a copy of "Trash of the Count's Family"?
HydrangeaaJul 23, 20225 replies244 viewsIs it just me or does this manhwa seem like a copy of "Trash of the Count's Family"? The parallels between the characters is alarming. Both have OP butlers, an OP 'pet', and 2 more 'pets' that happen to be twins (brother and sister) with a mischievous personality.
I'm not sure which released in light novel form first so I'm not trying to dig at either because they are different enough to enjoy both but was wondering if anyone else felt the same way.

when i was reading the book of lagier, it did make me think of trash of counts family, but is it a copy of it? not even remotely close to, no. what you said might just be common tropes of the series. some of the reasons why the series feel similar to me is because
- the original characters were rude bastards who were portrayed as useless, and then come across an incredible change like when the mc of "Lout of counts family" started possessing the body of Cale and when the demon king starts possessing the body of Lagier.
- the cute dragons ofc
- the setting of the story in a medieval magical world
- the mc being nobility or of high status
well if we really wanna talk about series that are just copies of something else, theres a lot of trash action ones coming at an incredibly fast pace, but i would not say this is one of them

I get what youre saying , but in lout of counts family he didn't kill people needlessly and imo it was better than this

A copycat in my eyes but a bad one. It does everything worse. Characters are not interesting, MC is real trash and isn't just playing as one on the outside, plot is boring and pacing is worse and the power levels are all over the place. Just look who won the sword fight in chapter 6 makes no sense what so ever
