IM VERI EXCITED
What do you think about first episode?
IM VERI EXCITED
Great start~
I love that noticeably short skirt in the opening ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It's nice to see the waifus again! The girls in this show are hot!
Tf it's wrong with you
Classroom of The Elite Boobs is back!
lewd image in spoilers
(◕‿◕)
I'm watching on waifus because the plot... if I start to stone him, I'll probably get shot in the street
but who needs plot when you have this bunch of girls full of plot?
So why do people like this series? Do people like this series for the plot points and logic games?
At least for me, this first episode was awful.
Now I consumed this series in a somewhat weird order watching S1 of the anime, being perfectly fine with it and then reading all the LNs after seeing how highly regarded they were, and now I'm coming back to S2 of the anime. So maybe S1 of the anime was way worse than this first episode, and this is progress for the anime, I don't know.
From my persepective CoE is great because of the character writing. Now, that is not to say that the story and plot isn't imporant, the plot is super interesting, but to me it is tool for adding to character developement and buildup to character climaxes. In my opinion, what makes the LN series the 9/10s on anilist that it has is the way the author has this roadmap for each character and drives them down this path slowly through small interactions in each Light Novel, and personally I just can't see how an LN reader would be fine with this first episode after it seems they are going remove almost all of them that aren't directly related to the ongoing game. Classroom of the Elite is far worse if your viewing each game as its own individual arc instead of a large overarching story.
Some people might say, "Oh its just the first episode", but from what they cut and the pacing its easy to tell that this is extremely unlikely to change.
The last thing I would be worried about is changing the rules of the game slightly, this series is great becuase of its characters and they just straight up ignore everything that makes the characters relatable, interesting, or provides depth into motives, and so when the payoffs for characters happen later on, no one is going to give a f**k, which breaks my heart cuase this series is too good to have have such an awful adaptation. This Game in particular is extremely boring from a logic stand point so however they decide to figure it out in the end, I honestly don't care its not super important in the long run, but the character interactions in this part of the story is what makes it one of the better LNs in Y1, so it sucks that they are just removing so much content that gives so much depth Spoilers for this Season (CoE LN 4)
Possibly I'm wrong, but I checked in the LN, and I'm fairly sure this first episode covered almost 100 pages, which is absolutely insane to me. I'm not a huge LN reader, so maybe this is more common than I'm expecting, but overall I feel alot of people are going to miss out on what I think the whole point of the series is Especially with what I belive are Ayanokoji's motives are in relation to going to a different class Y2 Volume 1-6 I would not click unless you are fully caught up
Also sorry to rant, kinda just super frustrated after seeing that episode.
it seems like it was rushed since they left out a ton and changed some from the LN, hopefully it'll still be enjoyable
LN spoilers
all i want to see is ayanokoji break kei
The fact that they rushed 1/3rd of the LN into one episode already left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they don't alter it further...
i'm hoping that just means that there will be more time spent on some really good moments
Only watching for King Katsuragi
I know I will enjoy this show in the long run, but that felt like playing a really bad tutorial before beginning a game.
Bullshit, and i love the ln.
This adaptation will be stupid and meaningless
Looking forward to seeing how the leaders of the classes tackle this game, it'll be a little harder for class D this time because of how S1 played out.
please just read the LN.
Is it my impression or has the adaptation started bad?
I don't read manga or LN so I have no idea, I just watch the anime but the comments are well divided
Some people like it, others are worried S1's issues will affect this arc, I remember in the Light Novel the number of students was relevant for some of the decision making some characters did, but in the anime there's fewer students.
Man as a reader of the LN I was really disappointed with this episode. For perspective, they jammed like 1/3rd of the LN into 1 episode and that doesn't sound too good does it?
Its only the first episode and my head's already spinning
literally among us
it has been 5 years but it's good to have CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE II back again!!!
Good for the people that actually enjoy and are anime-only but as someone who has read the LN's... I'm so sorry but it was mediocre at best. I tried to keep my expectations low but I somehow still got disappointed. It's not a good start when Ryuuen and Karuizawa were the only characters that felt somewhat correct.
I'm glad if you enjoy it though and I hope you keep doing so.
6/10 at best from me so far.
Also, it looks like they're going to adapt until LN 6 and I hope to god that they don't rush that as it's one of the best moments. They already rushed the shit out of the start of LN vol 4 with this and I'm not impressed.
As a person who only watches the anime, it was pretty stupid...
we will see the development of this brilliant game
you know the best thing about anime when it starts with girls in the pool and boobs...that should be the focus
I don't give a damn about LN, if the anime is an adaptation of it, it can take many paths and that's why I'll judge with what's in the anime, let's start
well, can anyone tell me what is the purpose of this school and these stupid games?
I think I got lost in the first season or I didn't get it right
because, what's the point of you shoving a bunch of teenagers in a school to dispute who's smarter?
Wouldn't it be more advantageous to put them directly inside companies or political parties/government to then challenge themselves with the real challenges?
but no, it's better to play at the dot-to-dot school
it even seems that they are trying to cultivate the most narcissistic and egocentric to take control of the country and perpetuate in power for life.
and what is the meaning of the game? if not even the characters understand, do they expect me to understand?
"Did you fight with rika?"
"who is rika?"
"a girl with glasses from class c, just like us"
ahahahahahahah
if she wears glasses and a bun in her hair is not the same as you
I see that the intelligence of these guys has been flying for a long time
AAHAHAHAHA
THE GIRL NEEDS TO PUT THE PHONE IN HER MOUTH TO TAKE A PICTURE, JUST TAKE A PICTURE FROM Afar OR DISGUISE THAT YOU ARE TAKING THE PICTURE
IQ 800000+
meh episode, as i said it would be better to put these idiots in action than stay away from imbecilic games
first good thing: girls with plot
second good thing: ZAQ singing the opening
I still don't know what the most amazing thing about this work is, it must not be the intelligence of these characters
but I would love to see them in the daily life of my country, using all that intelligence to solve the problems of politics and economics
expectations: none
haters coming: in 3...2....1..
As a LN reader I will say it was OK.
i only remember that MC name is Ayayayayaysomething, can't remember s1 for shit
surprised about the zodiac to solar system planets change but i think they did a good job explaining the mechanics in the anime, though it'd be best to write things down or type it on a notepad whenever u get confused.
in any case, there were a few panning still frames, montage-esque shots, and janky character models/line inking but other than these nitpicks, i'm liking it so far as a LN reader.
EDIT: obviously not liking that they cut a decent amount of content but that's why reading the LN is the more preferrable thing to do. not a spoiler but in the LNs, there's usually a soliloquy prologue/chapter for a character who would take the center stage or to some comparable effect. this soliloquy prologue/chapter will most likely be part of the cut content, but i'm not too bummed out about that.
Mid
I enjoyed watching it, the opening was catchy and the ending was great as well!
SUSSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSUSU
Glad to see someone who understands real taste~
Tf it's wrong with you too
forgot to mention![]()
"men of culture"
hey don't post a picture of yourself in the comments
no one wants to see your ugly face, the crappy picture of your account is enough, it portrays your person well
thanks
... "you know the best thing about anime when it starts with girls in the pool and boobs...that should be the focus"
You know its bad for you to watch a lot of ecchi right?
And i hate guys who use "man of culture".
when the conversation gets to you, I'll let you know
at least the guy who made the first comment is not a sucker using the picture of another sucker who thinks he is a revolutionary/savior of humanity thinking that his selfish attitudes will change the world
from the analysis of your profile I already know that you are a dynamic teen of the mass and no one needs to know the opinion of a teen
but while you wait, enjoy your anime you've waited years for the continuation but it's already a crap
imbeciles characters doing imbeciles that don't affect anything in their little world as if the fact that they are super smart would change something
free cry and enjoy the show
be well, cya
Bro thinking someone take him seriously after "I'll probably get shot in the street
but who needs plot when you have this bunch of girls full of plot?"...
Just shut up, you're embarassing
I like how he blocking me, he is sad now ;)))
This is for GisenYagyu:
I'm sorry you're an idiot kid, you're so stupid that you masturbate while watching pictures with anime ecchi girls;))), a wait you're an adult and you're still watching anime ecchi, baby, in my eyes you are an idiot from the generation of fools, did you feel so bad you checked my profile and criticized him? child without a future, and I did not understand I do not have the right to opinion ?, you make me laugh.
Ugh. Ibuki & Karuizawa. I dislike them both
least horny anilist user
you may be right, but its better than nothing. im pretty sure most light novel readers, including me, would keep their expectations low. i mean its pretty obvious theyre going to cut out stuffs which will damage the story of cote since its only 13 episodes, but we get more ayanokouji hehe.
Fair, I definitely have way to high of expectations for this anime, with what they probably had as resources and time.
Still wish it could have gotten the love it deserves.
At least to me its still skipping out on the best aspect of Ayanokoji's development, and skipping to all the cool big brain moments of his character.
I have a lot of friends who won't start reading the LNs because of the anime adaptation and its shallow display of the characters, so I'm not really speaking towards the people who enjoy it for the more "I just like seeing the cool scenes" (which is a perfectly fine way to enjoy the seires, just not the way I do) aspect, moreso to the people who don't like the anime adaptation as anime watchers, so that they can understand that the series is far better and more in depth than just Ayankoji flexing on everyone and getting a harem the anime.
yeahh!!! deadass its unfortunate that even my friends wont pick up the ln despite me telling them that the anime wont do it justice. but oh well (,:
i just like it because of the girls
the story? wat?
as soon as i watch the epi i come back here to read your comment
Knowing the track record of this show from S1 I doubt it but we'll see...
the funny thing is that they have skipped a bunch of the dialogue and setup for 'special exam' when that is more important i'm my opinion than the exam itself.
cause didnt they skip the part where koenji goes out on like the first or second day or am i just getting ahead of myself? and from looking at the one kei cutscene they all have separate rooms which was one of the few places that set up interactions with characters this arc
Oh yeah, that. It has been a while since I read vol 4 but I vaguely remember them just skipping a lot of the important stuff. So frustrating as this could have been where they improve on the first season but they learned absolutely nothing from it.
what is the purpose of this school and these stupid games</blockquote>
At first this school isn't your everyday high school where you just go, study, club activities etc. It was set up to nurture elites who will be leading/representing the country. Thus they take those exams to test your IQ, academic ability, sports ability, social communication and above all teamwork. If you haven't read manga or LN then its natural to question the purpose of this school or the exams since you have seen only two of them.
what's the point of you shoving a bunch of teenagers in a school to dispute who's smarter?
Wouldn't it be more advantageous to put them directly inside companies or political parties/government to then challenge themselves with the real challenges?</blockquote>
Let me answer the second one first, this is a school where you nurture elites. What's the point if you throw them into companies when they are inexperienced? besides, you can learn from your previous exam and emend your mistakes in the next one. This isn't always possible when you are leading a country or a company.
And the first one answer: Of course to gather experience. You can use these experiences when you are actually competing with a company or something similar.
Besides can you point out any reason as to why those are imbecilic games?
Well, I don't know which fantasy country they live in, but I've never seen a situation where you're on an island or on a cruise ship playing metal games to see whether or not the person has the ability to run a company or lead a country.
certainly in this fake country the real problems are far away
maybe it's less important to learn about judiciary, legislative, executive or any other humanities and exact matters but it's more important you learn how to light a fire, because you never know when your country will be out of power
in the same way that I have never seen a chess champion run a company or be part of parliament or be the president or prime minister of any country, certainly certain skills do not fit these positions of power/decisions
and it even seems that just because they are super gifted, the population will elect them to lead their nation/company
although I am against the lack of technical choice within a democracy, in which the will of the people prevails, it seems that they are going to participate in some contest in which the most intelligent and qualified will be elected or chosen (perhaps in a company but to lead the country? maybe one colluded yes but not in a republic)
and another, exams don't make the slightest connection with reality, as in the case of our protagonist, when faced with an emergency situation, will he look serious and watch for hours until he reaches a conclusion? Or will they make jokes that you need to fit in?
well maybe if you are on a boat or on fantasy island your reaction time is unnecessary
But if you think that these games enable them to inspect, legislate, judge, manage, solve infrastructure and budget problems, among others, or even innovate in some area
if yes, tell me the fruits that can be harvested from these games in the different areas listed
The fact that you pass an exam does not mean that you are qualified to hold a certain position and only one thing defines whether or not you are able: the time to make urgent choices
it is uncertain the number of people who assumed certain positions of extreme responsibility just because they had high abilities or being intelligent or social appeal and when they arrived in the position of power they found themselves in different situations and that their qualities did not fit the case and that is exactly the case, that is, exams do not measure their ability, only practice, so there is a logic of putting them in real and not fanciful situations with mind games with high school students thinking they have the same mentality as a adult within criminal schemes with the purpose only to harm you or benefit your group but in the end the "challenges" are only to see who is the dumbest to be deceived
And when did someone make the rule that you can't take pictures of other people? or the locations? Or is it a rule made up on the spot?
it's the same thing as there are no rules for you to be able to use your cell phone during a test from which the class in general benefits and no one forbids the cell phone to be used, for reasons that the conversation can be recorded and then spread to your room in search of benefiting your group, but it seems that nobody cares about that, since the use is allowed but not for taking pictures
but if they didn't want to take a picture of the girl, it was just to take her to the place and say "yes she hit me"
now if she accuses then she proves
but it seems that this ship is the size of the universe and the students don't meet each other only when the script suits them to meet
well, as you don't hear a rejoinder, I'll understand how there is no logic in the stupid games applied to students, so soon, with no practical purpose
sry pal I am going through my lazy phase. I didn't even bother to read what you wrote. But rest assured you'll get a reply within this month
another one that escaped the debate
ah I don't want answers from the anime, I want an answer from the one who contested my line of thought with an argument based on the anime
and there will be no answer in the anime just more unknowns without answers
Oh I forget about the stupid question about class C girls. Why they didn't take a pic from afar or in disguise because if anyone saw they were taking a pic of a stranger, they could have just reported those girls to teachers which could have given them a penalty/punishment.
LOL
