i’m not sure about Death Note since I haven’t read it but for Bleach definitely. the anime doesn’t do justice to the manga’s art and choreography whatsoever and the animation is average at best for the most part. reading the manga you don’t also have to go through the mixed canon-filler episodes.
oh yeah i forgot that anime Bleach has fillers and i heard that it is surprisingly a lot. i think this has convinced me enough to just read the manga.
Death Note's anime and manga compliment eachother.

In the anime, the death of L is more dramatized and out there than it is in the manga. But the manga has more detail put into various aspects like the 2nd half with N and M

i, indeed, haven't finished this anime yet but i'm at episode 35 so i guess it's fine. besides, i don't really mind spoilers so yeah it's all good.
bleach is better than the big three imo in manga form. (naruto dbz) omitted one piece because you cant really compare 1000s of episodes of world building but yes bleachs manga is great
Checked. Yes, the manga is better. Don't watch Bleach. Read it instead. The quality of the art is much better. There is also censorship in the anime as well as fillers (even in canon episodes).

I'm reading it and not that far ahead of you. Still on the same arc and there is a noticeable difference.
the death note anime and the death note manga are two different experiences. both are amazing, so choose whichever medium you prefer!
they do have almost entirely the same story, but the way some scenes and characters are portrayed varies a little bit. so if you like one, check out the other to see the differences!
