Earthchild 1-13 Discussion (Spoilers Obviously)

I made a thread or two in the past when this series first started. But being where we are now I wanted to ask the opinions of everyone who hasn't dropped this.

Personally the first eight chapters were a struggle for me, but after just now coming back and catching up, I noticed the quality got a little better? Still not amazing but I enjoyed my read a lot more than I had been since after chapter two.
