OH, YOUR TALKING ABOUT AOT.
I thought you where talking about the release Season... - a34dsa4 years ago1

U think last season was bad?
Personally I think it was solid but some people think it's lack luster.

OH, YOUR TALKING ABOUT AOT.
I thought you where talking about the release Season...
U think last season was bad?
Not one bit I can’t even finish it lol
How come
First few episodes were dope but soon after the fighting ended the dialogue and character interactions were just bad imo
Just finished it. It was dope. AOT in itself isn’t when a 10/10 for me anyways
S3P2 will always be the peak of AoT
none of the other seasons are even remotely close
I personally think S4 was just better, cause it delved deeper into politics, war and become arguably more philosophical, which I'm a huge fan of.
S4P2 Eps 4 and 5 were also some of the best writing, and story telling I've ever seen. Period.
didn't the series always delve deep into politics? (I'm not saying your wrong, but having a large scale political development and war is definitely a large change in the overall plot)
S2/S3 had a looot to do with internal politics and conflicts inside of Marley itself (military vs scouts), and S4 started the overall outwards expansion into more global politics
I DEFINITELY 100% AGREE THOUGH, the twist with the founders power and going into PATHs was the absolute greatest part of the entire series and as a manga reader was realistically the only part I was waiting to be animated
imo, I think as far as the "key" start of the series, S3P2 was the perfect conclusion to the mystery of Attack on Titan and the reason why every single conflict exists in the first place, the buildup with Erwin's past and dedication was soooo fruitful, and imo is the most emotional I've ever felt watching this show as Erwin was the best written character for the show and it's not even close (but that's just my opinion)
every season has definitely been good though, just for me personally it hit like no other
It was shit
Yeah its peak
The hate for it is really stupid tbh
Elaborate on how someone not liking aot season 4 is stupid?
I don't think not liking it is stupid, everyone can have their own opinion on things, its just that the reasons of people hating on it are at least from what i've seen so far quite stupid in my opinion.
Oh okay, my bad for misunderstanding that.
I think this is the worst aot season so far. It felt kinda lackluster. The first few episodes were exciting
the season reached its peak at episode 80, the rest is shit. i don't expect much from part 3
It was definitely good, but I don't think it was close to peak.
I loved it. But, i didnt like it as much as the rest of AOT at points
shouldve stopped at the end of s3
if it did there would be a lot of unanswered questions
CRAPPA
peak
lol
Found the MAPPA hater
Oh yeah definitely.
You should check out my review, I praise the hell out of it.
You thought that it was a worse adaptation than Tokyo Ghoul:re, I think thats enough of a hint to not take you seriously
Well someone already had the same problem with my review so let me copy paste my response to him:
...I kinda fucked up a bit there. I haven't even read the Tokyo Ghoul manga so I can't judge whether or not it is a bad adaptation (or rather, how bad of an adaptation it is). What I meant to say in my review was that I preferred the Tokyo Ghoul Re anime over the Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 2 (despite hating both of them). I think it's better done, better animated and the better product. But I have no idea how the TG:Re adaptation compares to the original manga and judging from numerous people I trust and also the fact that I consider the AoT manga to be already kind of... bad, then yes, I'd probably agree that TG's adaptation is way worse.
Basically I think Tokyo Ghoul Re is marginally the better anime, despite not being the better adaptation.
Nonetheless, I still think Aot S4 pt2 is an embarrassingly bad adaptation by MAPPA that doesn't even come close to those animated by WIT.
Thank god, I though some people were blind, claiming this was a 10/10 anime...
But some points to criticize that got me mad since last season:
Now, was is fun? I mean, it wasn't that bad, but it clearly wasn't the best when we have stuff out there being released some seasons ago that were clearly better handled.
I just don't think that aot is being handled in the best way, and it's probably suffering a bit by the end to something that could have been one of the best anime stories ever (also debatable by many).
Not saying that you are not free to enjoy your favorite show, who am I to say what's "good" or "bad", that's totally up to the viewer, if you think this is peak anime, well, congrats? ahah I'm 100% that a lot of people won't consider Your Lie in April peak anime, and I'm totally okay with it! Just enjoy what you like :3
The drop in art quality is significant (if you think it's not, I recommend you watching S1, S2 or S3 and compare them);
I don't mind but I remember hearing that those seasons had way more budget and time poured into them compared to season 4p1 and p2. I could be wrong.
Absolutely not. They got the point of this season across (no right or wrong on either side) but there wasn't anything enjoyable about it in my personal opinion. Watching our Scouts struggle was not enjoyable, maybe the author did it on purpose, since it was emotionally conflicting, but I can't help but feel like something different should've occurred, especially having an idea of how this will all end. I was just over it all and wanted AOT to just end tbh. Seeing Eren reach Marley wasn't hype at all, though I was on his side the entire time, maybe because it was shown at the very end of the season? Not sure, but I was quite indifferent watching the last few episodes.
EDIT: I hate Gabi too so her getting that shot on Floch didn't help anything. I watch AOT for our Scouts, no more, no less
only one episode was boring the rest were almost 10/10, I don't give a shit about animation as long as the story is good
Not even close
coming from the guy rating demon slayer 10/10. Understadable.
It was good, not the best, but good.
episodes 1-6, 11, and 12 were some of the best episodes aot has to offer, but 7-10 were very lackluster and honestly some of the worst episodes the show has to offer. It's a bit of a let down from S4P1 (which was the peak of the series imo) but still a great season
Exactly what i feel about this season
lmfao not really i havent watched it since ep 8 aired, will catch up eventually but eh
It's ok, S3P2 remains as the peak of Shingeki
wholesome responses to misunderstandings should be the baseline, take notes fellow anilisters
there are definitely some legitimate reasons for people hating on the series, but I agree people making blanket comments like "animation change = bad plz mappa never animate again" makin me throw up fisticuffs
I think it’s more the people saying that the presence of a group opposing the rumbling is bad writing, when there are literally people in real life who oppose the rumbling too
you see, I see a LOT of people talk about this, but is it actually a reason for disliking the show? I see a lot of discourse surrounding
"Dude people who support Eren are fucking gross" (which I can agree, but I will cast my opinions on the matter aside)
I haven't actually seen this translate into anyone hating on the show but instead more of a divide in the fandom and people itself
In a lot of the forum comments in the episode threads and a lot of forum posts on MAL I’ve seen people saying it’s ridiculous and character assassination that Armin and others would oppose the rumbling and why anyone would
Look I agree with you that AoT has been going down with the final season but it’s kind of a big stretch to consider it inferior to Tokyo Ghoul:Re, that shit was literally incomprehensible from how bad it was directed. Anyway your list design and classification is great, I might take some ispiration for mine.
