  It is your average, generic, Isekai, I'm not saying it is bad this got a second season, but damn there are so many more things out there that could be adapted to anime and be amazing instead of more and more Isekai, tiring to see the same stuff every season.

Yeah me too, this will definitely break the internet. AoT final season P3, Mushoku Tensei 2nd season, COTE S2 AND S3, and all those other amazing anime will be left in the dust by this masterpiece.

    I was just being ironic? And what does it being animated by another studio have to do with it? Even if Ufotable picked it up, the story itself would make it mid. Anyways I am free to express my opinion on this thread, and I feel like criticizing what I view as a mediocre anime.

    No, it really just shows how self-entitled you are. "Ooh look at me I really hate this anime!! Let me show my hate for it even though I could be doing something more productive." If you hate something, hate it silently. There's no need to be immature by specifically commenting on the anime's threads to show how much you hate it. If you hate it, don't watch it. Simple. The anime is not forcing you to watch it.
    Of course, there are a bunch of trash isekai nowadays and I'd love to see something more than just generic isekai, but this anime was pretty enjoyable for me even for how mediocre it was.

    Haven't watched S2, but I was sleeping while watching S1. It was boring as hell.
    The only isekais that I think are good are Mushoku Tensei, Re:ZERO, KonoSuba and NGNL.
    Any isekai other than the ones I named are mid or bad imo.

    Yeah those are definitely way better. But slime is “good” trash Isekai. If you like reading/watching power isekais then slime is the best for you. If you actually want good Isekai then it’s those you mentioned and some other which have only manga for now

    Yeah, I agree. If anyone enjoys isekai or the idea of an OP protagonist, then Tensura is the way to go. But the thing is that I actually hate isekai. The ones I named are the exceptions.

    If S1 was boring for you, don't even start the rest, S2 was such a disappointment for me, I could barely finish that abomination, and I dropped S3 after like 2 episodes.

    What? Afaik they didn't get sued. The author "traced" some poses from other mangas/animes, but there was no legal action taken.
    Quick edit: This happened BEFORE the movie came out, considering the movie released in 2017 and this happened in 2014, there is no way they cancelled anything because of this.

    Yeah everything was sorted out. Nothing is stopping them from making a S2. Just the usual misinformation regarding NGNL S2
