if its the same mangaka, and you think that the redrawn is better then read that.

yeah, but I am pretty confused that the second chapter seemed totally different than the one in the original.. plotwise.

hotchadApr 8, 20224 replies364 viewsSo yh I've looked upon few ppl saying there was a redrawn version of tokyo ghoul.. By comparing the first chapters of both, redrawn seemed superior. But as a whole wondering if it's any better than the original.
(By redrawn I didn't mean Tokyo ghoul:re, imho there's really a redrawn version of the original by the same author.)

There's only one redrawn chapter, which I believe was made during Tokyo Ghoul:re's serialization. I think it's definitely better than the original but that's all there is.
The redraw has a bit more explanation and foreshadowing, but it's either minor details or something you'll get later on. In the end it doesn't really matter.
