That one got me fired up as well. Though, I somewhat dislike the idea of Ayanokouji talking about Horikita's growth, etc. 24/7. It feels a tad odd, and I'd always think that the other white room student if it is Yagami, or whoever would be stronger than Horikita. Of course, that person is acting alone, so him going up against his entire old class would be refreshing and feel more satisfying, than merely defeating one student.
I think Ichinose's class, perhaps? Nobody has figured his abilities out from there, yet?

Yeah, I think it's nice as well, but has to be done right, because just in general "growth" sounds weird.

Kanzaki would be more than happy to have Ayanokouji join his class. He's the only reasonable person within their class.

 pardon, my word usage. I was trying to say something along those lines, yeah XD. Anyways, the exams that he change always gets more interesting like the mixed training camp exam and so on (he's the one that proposed that exam right?). So, I'm looking forward to see what Nagumo would do when he said "that'll end up costing your year"

I remember, he had a call with someone; he did not know, but I always thought that was Sakayanagi? Not sure what volume, but Sakayanagi said she remembered that voice from years ago, so probably someone related to the white room?

 guess so, since no normal person would say that lol. question is, was that a student from the school or was it it an outsider? if it was an outsider, he could reemerge in the culture festival maybe? there's gonna be ppl from outside there too right? if it was a student, then there're other WR students at school apart from Yagami and Amasawa?

 School festival will happen next volume, yes? I doubt the entire volume will surround "the maid cafe." Wait, who is the honor guest even? And how would the honor guest even expel Ayanokouji, because Ayanokouji-sensei said he'd expel Ayanokouji through the school's rules? And there's really no way to get anyone expelled, if it's not an exam???
 And how would this mysterious visitor protect Ayanokouji, if there's little danger? Maybe they're setting up a False flag? That'd be cool.

 I doubt it as well. I rly think it will be abt the honor guests this time. The guests from the sports festival seemingly felt nonexistant lol. and I can't picture a good story plot if we're only surrounding the Culture Festival

 Maybe points for the class, that gets the most profit or something. Sounds too weird, honestly. Who are they even selling to? The other classes? The point of a school festival would be that outsiders come??? But it's just one? So even that probably won't happen. Though, I think I remember the rules of it being mentioned somewhere. But it sounds too weird. Idk.
 Anyway, wouldn't it be better to attack him during their school trip? They have a school trip, right? Don't remember the city, but I remember they didn't vote for Kyoto.

 Same, mate. Ryuuen sells poisoned food, leaving everyone with a stomache. Ryuuen and his goons leave a tons of bad reviews for the maid cafe! Everything sounds weird. I cannot picture anything good. Chaos during a school festival just sounds kinda weird, eh?

imo, the Kushida incident was perfectly handled by Kinugasa, dont just take it as "Oh she only now gon help the class cos Horikita called her childish". Kushida is not helping the class as she stated herself, she is helping herself and focusing on herself, If i was Kushida, I would have done the same thing. She is also doing something behind the scenes with Yagami for sure. The way Kinugasa handled it was perfect on that part and I dont see any way that it could have been better.

and yeah Kei break up is bound to happen. I am not ready for it as a huge Kei fan ffs. But it is what is, I am interested to see where this goes, Classroom of the Elite endgame is my 2nd most anticipated ending fs besides One Piece. I just love this series

I still think it was poorly handled. Horikita's entire argument was, "Do it for your own sake." It does makes sense right? But she has been a hindrance ever since volume 4, so feels underwhelming. Idk if she's working with Yagami, or if she's still trying to get them expelled. I suppose that'd make it better.

She already is, and probably will help even more, because she always said "I wanna get to Class A after expelling you two". She returned to class and apologized to Everyone. She took part in the sports festival, and will probably help in future exams.
Edit: Idk, maybe it's too early for me to judge until the next couple of volumes. If Kushida returns and wreaks more havoc than before, then it could be great. Ayanokouji said in his monologue, that Kushida shows no sign of cooperating, so I hope that's the case.

 Yes, bro the whole volume clearly stated multiple times she is not cooperating. She did not apologize lmao, she just said "Im sorry, bye". That is not an apology and even they mentioned it. Ofcourse, she participated in sports festival or she would have been punished by the school as it is mandatory. Again, she wants to save herself more than anth.
 I still think it was literally the best way Kinugasa could have handled it. If u have another idea, feel free to mention it cos if Kushida would just hinder the class but at the same time, ruining herself, it would have been bad writing to me as Kushida is known to prioritize herself and thats it. She was exposed, lost herself and wanted to self destruct but Horikita reminded Kushida of who she is.

 It makes sense that she'd return and prioritize herself. The number of people who know her past keeps growing, so maybe she'll set her goal on getting revenge against Horikita. I don't hope she'll try to reach Class A doing nothing to hinder Horikita.
 The apology was most likely forced and not real, but they didn't mention it. They responded; "You think you can just apologize?" and "What kind of apology is that?"
 I still think the way Kushida returned, with Horikita and Ibuki arguing with her, was poorly done. That won't change.

 I am pretty sure ur problems with this all boils down to needing to read between the lines ngl dawg cos, its too obvious that 1. Shes definitely still up to something and 2. she did not give a fuck about her classmates and only apologized for the sake of apologizing. Like those two are kinda obvious to me. Then for that last part, feel free to think that ofcourse, we all have our own opinions so its fine. This volume is on par with Y2V5 fs to me.

I don't really agree that the writing is falling, imo Y2V5 was one of the best the series has ever had and Y2V6 didn't disappoint either.
V6 was the perfect cool down after the insanity that was V3 and 4 with V5 also being a pretty stressful volume.

It's obvious that Kinugasa was using this vol to set up the future of the series, and I imagine a drastic change will happen before the end of the Second Year. Most likely Kiyotaka leaving the class, or some other drastic change in the power balance.

I'm definitely interested in what class Kiyo would go to, since I doubt it's Honami's since its apparent that she has been set to be used in some way by Nagumo, to what end I don't know yet.

I have a feeling his encounter with Arisu at the end of the vol has something to do with this. It wouldn't surprise me if he was to join her class after settling things with her and the combo of Kiyotaka and Arisu would be a terrifying opponent for anyone who went against them.
If this were to happen I'd expect it to lead to ALL the other classes teaming up to defeat the two, which would certainly be interesting.

Other than that I also see where he joins Ryuen's class, since he knows people from that class more than any of the other classes. Not sure how Ryuen would feel about that though so he'd probably have to be removed or beaten down again first.

Anyway, it's all speculation on my part, the fact that I don't know exactly where this plot will go from here and shows how excellently it's written in my opinion. Since I'm pretty good at predicting stories due to reading for so long and studying entertainment for 7 years.

I really hope it doesn't end up with Suzune defeating Kiyotaka though. It doesn't make sense. This has nothing to do with my personal dislike of her but from an objective sense, there's no way current Suzune could even dream of defeating Kiyotaka. So either he does something drastic again forcing her to change even further or she isn't the one to beat him.

The only character in the entire novel I could see potentially defeating Kiyotaka alone is Koenji, if he ever bothers to do anything.

Honestly, not sure why I wrote it like that. The only scene I actually disliked was the Horikita/Ibuki/Kushida scene. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

He doesn't have the points himself to transfer class, yet, so Class A probably sounds like a good guess. Could still be the others, since every class can easily gather up 20m points. Also, might be why not Class B, since everybody would need to agree to it. The only way it could happen without everybody agreeing is if Ichinose did it by herself and I don't think that'd happen. Though, I think the Nagumo manipulation seems kind of irrelevant as it seems to be for Y3. Not sure to what extend he has manipulated her either, though, he can still do a lot of damage at current phase.
Well, there might also just be other ways for him to transfer class, if more limited transfer class tickets arrive or if he collects points from the students in the class, somehow.
Also, I highly doubt Class D, since Ryuuen dislikes Ayanokouji, but I still see it as a possibility. Every class would honestly be interesting.

 Any of the classes could be possible, and any of them could switch up the direction of the story massively. It's honestly a super interesting way for the plot to progress.

I recently heard that Kei and Ayanokouji did the deed in this volume and I was curious if this was just bait or if this real. Somehow it feels out of character for Ayanokouji to me so I hope it's not true.

This volume had many notable scenes... They didn't focus on sport festival, but i think it's okay since they want to focus on future events
Ayanokoji talking about Horikita' growth was fire can't wait to read vol7 XD
