Amazing episode of an amazing show.

The combat is the animation peak of the series.

This cast of characters is one of the best in the entire anime industry.

The story is still progressing while explaining a lot about the characters (especially Bosse and Miranjo, the key characters of this season).

Ouken confirmed as a very good villain. He has not a particular motivation (he's crazy afterall so he doesn't even have the faculty of thinking) but his crazyness is absolutely wonderful to watch in terms of agony and despair in his eyes and in his opponents' ones.

The animation for this episode was incredible, especially with the big four fight off Ouken together. I loved that Kage meeting his mom was heartwarming and not a manipulative ploy to get him to pass over. Baby Miranjo was super cute. I'm glad she's showing a change of heart.

bruh tbh i thought miranjo would burn boji and kage and show them to the others and if not then somehow boji gets revived due to the authority of an anime MC.

Fantastic episode!

The scene between Kage and his mother was just beautiful. Love the OST that played during that scene!!

The animation was amazing during the Ouken vs 'big four' fight. Hmm, it seems like Ouken is starting to remember his past self.

I loved the symbolism with kage and the river. I think kage and bojji's friendship is so great, it's unconventional but it works so well for them.

Representing Miranjo bringing Kage back from death by 'crossing the river' was brilliant. I am a bit confused as to what Kage's mother represented; was it death or was it really just his mother?

Miranjo's backstory with Bosse was finally completed and we learnt a bit more about the Gods, which I assume might be a plot point for the second part.

The Elite Four VS Ouken was a dope-ass fight. I didn't want it to end; I wanted it to continue, for 10 years at least. What a fight it was!

Overall, a fantastic episode and brilliant use of that Greek/Roman mythology thing of Charon/Pluto crossing the river to ferry the dead. 5/5

Ouken successfully stabbed Bojji in the chest, you don't see that happening often in anime! Normally someone will save him or block the attack, thankfully this anime doesn't follow that much bullshit

The bald guy with the weird nose at the beginning also looked alot like the devil/demon(?) that appeared after Bosse died, the demon also showed up during Miranjo's flashbacks. Could they be the same person? I think the smile gave it away

Definitely the best chapter in anime so far.
I can't believe how well animated this particular episode was, just incredible, super smooth, an action scene that doesn't envy anything else I've seen.
I loved that we're already understanding Miranjo and Ouken's character a bit more, being able to know their backstory definitely takes away from how flat they've been as characters up until now.

My favorite scene? Definitely the scene where Ouken stabs Mitsumata, I literally got chills all over (I love Mitsumata's character, I'll definitely get it tattooed) and the style in which they animated that exact moment chef kiss

~I am excited to continue watching the anime, I look forward to seeing the next chapter and how the story will continue to develop, which honestly, I have no idea how it will end, there are so many variants that this anime has up its sleeve that it is impossible for me to predict anything with Regarding the plot, at this point I'm just a spectator.~
