Yes, I know this post is 2 years old.
From what I read it was cancelled because the relationship between the two leads is toxic at times and I guess the artist/publisher/whoever didn't want to continue that BL stereotype. There are only 4 books in the series, I'm going to read it soon and see how true that actually is though.- Amiboshi2 years ago1
I heard that the main reason was the reaction of fans and a scandal related to one artist (she supposedly didn't like the author of these books very much), and therefore work on the project was canceled. I read all the books, but it was a long time ago and I don't remember their relationship being so toxic. Many other similar stories are being adapted in manhua form. But these are just guesses and I could be wrong (Ｔ▽Ｔ)
