Some people like to have a discussion with you for that. I keep hearing the Manga ending was bad or something.

I just hope it gets animated well. S4 was quite the let down compared to previous ones. Though I'm still very intrigued to see where the story goes.

It wasn’t bad imo people are just in their feels because it didn’t end how they wanted it to. I think the ending was pretty logical

I don't think 12 episodes is enough. They might have to make a movie for the ending.

I've heard rumours of the movie and I'm honestly starting to believe them. Given the recent box office success of movies like JJK 0 and Demon Slayer: Mugen Train I think that MAPPA might just go that route and milk the AoT cow for all that it's worth.
My big question is: When will this movie be released. I've been watching AoT since 2014 and while I'm really enjoying the ride, I do want it to end now.

  We might get a movie probably two years after the anime, so 2024 maybe. Although with the current pandemic there's a chance it might even get delayed even further. We'll just have to wait and see.
  There's been no news about it aside from a 'rumored' leak about the title name

I mean, it could be fine.
It means that they are going to do 2 chapter per episode which is what they did on most of the first part.
However there most likley gonna be a movie, which is pretty sad cuz im not gonna wait another 2 years, I'll have to read the manga and im sure a lot of anime onlys like me are gonna do the same.

27 ch. in 16 eps = average of 1,6 chapter per episode
22 ch. in 12 eps = average of 1,8 chapter per episode
So I think there will be no problem with the adaptation.

i figure maybe the last episode will be longer than usual ?? 40 mins probably. most of the chapters are just fight scenes so they could animate 2 chapters per ep and then make the last episode a special or they'll probably go down the movie route which tbh i doubt.
