Bebin tells Kage that he will understand later why Bebin is trying to help Bojji. I guess he's referring to that "strong feeling" Mitsumata has regarding Bojji's fate.

This series is amazing. So far I've been enjoying every single episode without fail.
The story was very straight forward and wholesome. No bullshit and unnecessary drama. Characters are made either interesting or likeable. Even when it became predictable to a certain degree it's still entertaining.
I would definitely recommend this to my young nephews and might rewatch with them once the season ends.
Another scene subverting our expectations. I thought Despa is conning Bojji for a second there. But no, the purpose of the scene where Despa has a conversation with the thugs was so that there are no plot or worldbuilding inconsistencies; it doesn't make sense for some dumb crooks to pick a fight with the prince. This also means that Despa might actually be pretty strong and is only acting weak.
I loved how Kage set Bojji straight when he was doubting best mom. Evil Hilling be like: "no, my kids are not the most important things in my life".
For me, I don't really doubt Despa there. After a few character interactions like Domas, Daida, and Hlling, I came to a conlusion that probably there aren't an inherently evil character within the story. The anime made itself very clear how the story is light hearted and who the antagonists are. I wouldn't be surprised if Miranjo actually was a good person at some point in her life.
Yeah, this anime feels very realistic because every single character actually has a reason for what they are doing. They don't do evil things just because they can or want to they have their own dilemmas as they live their life and sometimes they chose badly just like how Bosse made a deal with the devil. Not a single character feels lifeless (aside from background characters like Citizen A, Guardsmen B, and so on of course)
That double twist with Despa, they kinda had me there.
Bojji's fighting style is pretty cool. Great job Despa for training him!
Bebin's relationship with Mitsumata is pretty cute.
Made me cry when Bojji beat himself up for doubting Hiling :(
That final scene... Guess that will be his next opponent.

Mitsumata is the best. All that scar tissue makes me sad.
Based on Bojji's small size, gentleness, and martial technique of using his opponent's own force in overcoming the opponent, I'm beginning to wonder whether Bojji's character might not be a tribute to Ōsensei, Morihei Ueshiba, founder of aikido.
Just now, reading Ueshiba's Wikipedia entry, I came upon these lines:
"Aikido—usually translated as the Way of Unifying Spirit or the Way of Spiritual Harmony—is a fighting system that focuses on throws, pins and joint locks together with some striking techniques. __It emphasizes _protecting the opponent___ and promotes spiritual and social development."
While defending himself, Bojji makes a point of not harming his attackers.
Wouldn't just such a warrior make the greatest of kings?

so far i love the art and the story its just awesome
The further we go, the further I come to think that the cursed that removes all the strength of Bojji include, not only his physical strength, but also his hearing (and voice ?) but this theory seems far-fetched lol
He can totally understand people just by reading their lips so...
i love bojji and kages relationship, kage isnt just some buddy buddy yes man, he tells bojji what he needs to hear because he wants the best for him, this is a fine line to cross sometimes like how he doubted bojji early in the episode, but at the end he makes up for it and bojji realizes that kages not just trying to be mean. best 2 characters in the show i love this series.
