Can we please change the "Recommendations" section?

  Isn't the main appeal of ousama ranking its excellent animation and direction?

  Seems like a silent voice is a great recommendation.

  While naruto does have sakuga its far from enough to watch the imo and def not from hxh.

    So you think everything that has a good animation and direction can be recommended? Sure let's recommend JJK or DS after Silent Voice they all have good animation with good direction

      Not sure what DS is but yeh sure, those probably would be more appropriate recommendations than something superficial like naruto.

      Recommendations are supposed to be user controlled and they can be done for a variety of reasons. I think there is little value in aggressively policing recommendations by the community when their there is a legitimate reason behind them.

  Honestly feel recommendations perhaps shouldn't active until a series is over. Or maybe a threshold episode count for anything longer than average.

  While it shares both bullying and language barrier themes with Koe no Katachi. Can't say how long bullying one will last over the whole series.

  Naruto and Hunter x Hunter both hit shounen demographic. Ousama Ranking is Seinen.
  Just different target audiences, so hard to recommend.

      Actually seeing a mix of listings for the manga, wiki listing demographic as Seinen in what seems to be a Seinen magazine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranking_of_Kings Other sites listing it as shounen without any further info / source.
      Titlesin the magazine seem fairly mixed, quite a few seinen titles there.

      Though this is an anime adaptation not the manga, and it certainly feels like a Seinen. And other users seem to agree with the tagging so far. Naruto lovers are just about the last group of people I would recommend this title to (so far, it could always start marching down the endless battles road later in the series).

  Recommendations aren't all shoehorned into one "style" or "subject" A Silent Voice is a brilliant recommendation because there's very very few anime that focus on deaf characters and include sign langauge, let alone in a well-animated matter. Recommendations are both for the big and small things about a show. Say I like HxH (which I absolutely do.) That doesn't mean I just want more shows about a boy going on an adventure. Maybe I want shows that handle gender identity in an interesting way like HxH does. Maybe I want a show where the main protagonist falls victim to their primal instincts like Gon does. Maybe I want an anime that doesn't always follow the protagonist like HxH does. Maybe I want anime that treat fights like puzzles like how HxH does. Maybe I want an anime that is more devoid of fan service like HxH is.

  Recommendations are there to turn you to similarities both obvious and obtuse. We like many aspects of an anime and sometimes we want more of something very specific. Otherwise I would just click the genre and explore the same genre making recommendation much more pointless as a separate thing.
