I will try it but it's been a while since I read Volume 7... So through the device the high concentration is sucked in so from that a barrier can be created that protects the city from the heat/cold that needs quite a lot of energy so it can also be lowered ^^ Or the high concentration is used to create magic ore (which is what it is I think) ^^

yeah shit's fuckin complicated, without any pictures, to comprehend. I understood some of it but didn't understand how it works. The mechanism is soo tough to comprehend. I feel like I'm being left out. I'll wait for the anime explanation otherwise I won't be able get away from the read-not understand-read again-not understand booby trap. So that was just a rough explanation but if I remember correctly the mechanism works like this.... It is a "sucking device" of magic i.e. the magic of the world is sucked up and accordingly transformed by a magic circle into a barrier or into magic ore/steel but you must not forget that it only works if the magic number is very high otherwise no magic ore/steel or barrier can be created ^^
