a few characters from the LSS arc (arc right after Aizen) pop up briefly in this arc but it really doesn't hinge off LSS arc knowledge. Though, the LSS arc is a very good character arc for Ichigo so I recommend reading it either way. But since it's pretty much filler plot-wise, you can skip it if it suits you.

Lost Agent Arc/Fullbringer arc was an amazing shift and a good story in my opinion. Never listen to others, you should always give it a try for yourself. Only morons tell someone to skip everything after Aizen.
