The moment we've been waiting for
it was really good, bakugo actually said sorry which improved his character development even further, and it was good to see Deku trust them a bit, but the whole thing where ppl didn't want Deku to come back to ua was very sad but hey that's just how the manga is and thats how its become good for me
I'm not gonna lie, Bakugo apologizing is literally the most hype + best moment in all of Boku no Hero Academia manga. I knew it from start, Horikoshi is gonna pull this apology on us. But I didn't expect the apology to feel THIS satisfying. I guess that's what happens when you hate a character so much. Bakugo apologizing has been the saving grace of the past few chapters.
Nonetheless, I'm severely disappointed. The darker Deku barely lasted for 10 chapters, it felt like a rushed arc with an unfleshed protagonist. Mineta popped outta nowhere to make the past couple of chapters ten times worse than it actually is.
At the end of the day, My Hero Academia is My Hero Academia. Maybe it's my fault that I had too many expectations from Horikoshi and MHA. After Attack on Titan ended with a disgustingly bad ending, I was searching for another manga to cope to, and I was at such a low point that I put some of my faith into MHA.
Some things to note: I'm probably guessing that the old formula of "Bakugo! You go from the left. Uraraka! Make him float. Todoroki! Create an ice wall" or in simpler words—the turn-based RPG style fights are gonna be back. Kind of disappointing knowing how Deku can literally one-shot his enemies at his weakest. I pretty sure they're gonna put Deku in some sort of shit situation where he will NEED the help of Mineta's balls and Jiro's earphones.
Oh well, back to bi-monthly reading I guess lol

firstly you're acting like the manga's over. it's not and we don't know what's to come. just because deku went back to UA doesn't mean the 'dark' side of him is gone. he's still going through so much and i don't think he's just gonna go back to his happy cheerful self
secondly, you know how class 1a has been since the beginning; very supportive and protects each other like family. there was obviously no way they would let deku go off on his own, do you know how many people he's inspired in that class?! it was inevitable that they would get him back. or did you want him to resort to killing his friends cause they keep trying to get him back? we already watched them struggle
idk what you mean by 'darker deku' cause it was clear that in the last ~15 chapters even though he was putting up a fuss and acting like he was okay, he clearly wasn't. ofc he was gonna break down sooner or later. there is no 'darker' deku. deku is deku.

The moment Deku takes a last step back almost to leave, Ochaco's hand brings him back to him, and with all the simplicity of the world he tells him: "Don't worry about this." Thus, the question that Uraraka asks herself since she was a child is: "Heroes save people. But who is it that saves heroes?" And perhaps the answer implicitly becomes: "Other heroes." I appreciate how Ochaco manages to build Izuku's trust always with actions, in silence, therefore more subtly, not with expressions.
