  I never read the manga. Didnt like the first episode. BUT it had
  me curious enough to keep me watching. Which im grateful for
  since i love the series now

    Same. I watched the first episode and didnt like it, then came back to it and now i love it.

    I disagree, but it's not like I can change your opinion. Anyway, why do you think it's a pretty strong first chapter?

      well there are reasons
      ~!

      1. it shows the despair of deku not having a quirk
      2. him being bullied
      3. the doctor who is gonna be the one stealing his quirk
      4. all might showing his true form to deku
      5. deku becoming the next holder of One For All!~

      i think these main events is what makes it a strong chapter. it doesn't mean it's the best chapter of the series but it's still pretty good.

        Doesn't he become the next user when he eats the hair? (I even checked and One Form All isn't mentioned until the second chapter. The same chapter he eats the hair.) Also, what do you mean by "it shows the despair of Deku not having a quirk"?

  Probably the worst shonen starting point, but it gets better with time the series i mean
