    I'll reply to both of you, if you really think the anime adapted the LNs well i could understand but that's not the case, the question was on the LN series.
    Just look at the reactions/reviews under the LN and those under the anime, you'll seee that they're completely different.

The whole idea of a meritocratic school is fun thing to explore. Other than that, I would say the thing that got me hooked was the character development and growth of characters. We explore characters like Suzune, Kei, and even Yousuke whose characters are interesting on their own way.

I am also very hooked on the relationship between Kiyotaka and Kei as their relationship grows beyond someone manipulating the other as a pawn. The growth between characters is just really fun and I can't wait for year 2 volume 4.5
