Not sure how I feel about them crying over being in third place. I think it's really good considering that most of them are newbies who have only had a few months experience with the shamisen.

In retrospect, it might looks elfish, but the amount of work it takes to even make it that far seems like a waste to some people. Others are just disappointed that they couldn't achieve their full potential. Especially in a group. Everyone expects the best out of each other. When that doesn't happen, people feel sorry for the team and themselves.

I must say this episode had me screaming and hitting my chest. WHAT A PERFORMANCE. i'm not trying to compare animes but if the way they projected the music into a visual form was SO SIMILAR to how the plays in Haikyuu gets potrayed AND I FIND THAT SO COOL.
