For the Naruto fan community - Try to explain me or change my mind

1.. Itachi made the choice to kill his own people. Hiruzen wanted to negotiate, but there was no negotiating and everyone realized that. The Uchiha were going to pull the coup no matter what, they were fed up. Itachi realized that and made the choice on his own accord. He could've just fled the village and ignore the problems, but he made the choice himself.

2.. He blamed the 4th and Kakashi for Rin's death and wanted revenge.

3.. First, Hiruzen is not a walking orphanage, he is a Hokage. He is a busy person and has a lot to deal with. The fact that he drops Naruto in a one-room apartment, provides him with food and assigns people to teach him what's right and wrong, is the best he can do for him.
Second, Hokage Hiruzen had no Idea about the massacre order. Danzo did put up the idea about eradication but hiruzen refused that. He asked Itachi to get him some time as he wanted to talk first. But Itachi knew it was too late. He was also aware that uchihas would try to kidnap the hokage if they ever get a chance to. Itachi was also angry at Hiruzen that he didn't do anything earlier but now when it is too late. Danzo secretly asked Itachi to eradicate the uchiha clan. Itachi was in anbu root unlike Shishui, Itachi took orders from Danzo not the hokage. He also knew this was the only way now. So Hiruzen had no idea that a massacre was going on. Afterall Danzo had the authority to do so but Hiruzen never thought he would actually do that. This is why he stripped off all the powers from Danzo afterwards.

Itachi, You say he has betrayed his family and his friends because he is loyal to Danzo?
No way, Danzo killed Shisui and asked Itachi to kill his family.
Why does Itachi not prefer his family and clan?

Obito, It's sick but he knew that Kakashi didn't kill Rin, She sacrifices herself to save the village. So why does he attacked Konoha and try to destroy it? He loves her. So why does he Betray her last wish?

Hiruzen, At least he could tell Naruto about his parents and find someone who will raise him if he does not have time for it.

1. itachi was 13 or so when this occured, he had no choice. it got to the point where he could onjly choose between saving the village or starting a civil war. he asked obito for help to thin out the uchiha police force since he cant do it himself, hes only 13 after all
2. Obito was 14, he only saw Kakashi kill rin in front of him, so he abandoned the world. He even explains to Kakashi that he understands why kakashi killed rin but doesnt care. He went to konoha to get the kyuubi to start the eye of the moon plan. He also could never return to konoha, madara was holding him until madara broke him. If rin didnt break him, madara would have found another way to break him. he simply could not leave
3. he cannot choose favorites with people, he gave naruto the minimum to survive and thats that. he couldnt stop danzo out of him just being purely incompetent as hes a terrible hokage

1. Itachi chooses to slaughter his clan over having a war between the uchiha and the leaf. if this happened, both sides would take major losses, and the probability of other villages invading the leaf would be very high. itachi chose to sacrifice his clan, along with his reputation for the sake of the leaf.
2. Obito saw the love of his life killed by his best friend, and even though he knew why it happened, he was already being influenced by madara, so he abandoned the world and saw the infinite tsukuyomi as the only way to achieve real peace.
3. While I do agree that Hiruzen could have done a better job of taking care of Naruto or at least guiding him, but it helped Naruto grow into the person he came, because of the experiences of pain and loneliness he had as a kid, although i doubt that was Hiruzen's intentions when he did that. As for Danzo I think it was because he was his friend and comrade when they were both under Tobirama so he didn't want to kill him, although i do agree he probably should have or at least removed him from power.

Let's focus on Itachi. Both of you have a good point.

I agree that a 13-year-old cannot be expected to think logically,
but it is an anime so the ages are always low.
And let's be honest he doesn't look 13 years old.

The second point: that the other villages will attack them, I totally agree.

__After all, I still can not agree with his decision to murder his clan.
He chose to murder kids, women, his girlfriend, and his family.
Instead of confronting Danzo. __ What would have happened if Itachi killed Danzo Instead?

Why does he slaughter his clan and family?

Cause his family would've taken over the village.

Instead of going against Danzo, the person who killed his friend and started it all.

Danzo had ANBU and Politics on his side

Furthermore, Why does he use Obito, the man who murdered his teammates?

Instead of going against the rain village and get revenge for Rin dead Why did he attack Konoha?

Going after only the rain village would've achieved nothing. He had to put an end to the suffering to za world. And to do that, he needed Kurama, for that he had to attack Konoha. He could've taken Kurama back then if Minato hadn't stopped him, which freed the Tsundere fox.

Minato and Kushina asked him to take care of Naruto and raise him, so why he didn't do that?

Cause he's busy.

And why didn't he stop Danzo? He knew about everything he was doing

How the hell he figured out from this that he should murder his clan?

When it comes to Itachi, he decided to slaughter his clan and family because if he did not, they would have gone through with the coup d'etat. After taking over the village, neighboring nations would attack because they would see the leaf village as weaker and in turmoil. He basically chose between killing a clan or dooming a whole village (and in turn possibly starting another shinobi world war).

If he had gone against Danzo, the Uchiha would be on the bad side of the leaf village. Civil War at that point would be unavoidable.

He uses Obito because he wants him to kill the Uchiha police, which is too powerful for Itachi. Itachi puts aside the fact that he killed his teammates because he needs help.

A civil war was about to break out and with a civil war breaking out, the whole village could get weak allowing for other villages to attack. Basically they would be screwed.
So to Itachi it looked like either kill the Uchiha, or everyone dies.
He was also on a time limit and Danzo said that this way he could at least save his brother.
The Uchiha didn't back down, and Itachi choose to murder them so as to prevent the civil war, and also this way at least he could save his brother.

So from his standpoint the options would be:
Kill the Uchiha and save his brother.
Don't kill the Uchiha and either risk someone else doing it and killing his brother, or (if for example he confronts Danzo and manages to stop it) having civil war break out and everyone including his brother being caught up in it.

Danzo was just a person who gave the order.

He did admit that maybe it could have been fixed, and that he did the wrong thing later. But that's more or less what his perspective was at the time.

2- Obito couldn't return to Konoha before Rin died, because he barely could walk at the beginning and later on was stuck in Madara's place. Also from his standpoint, there was no need to hurry, he could train and get better then return.

He blamed the world for Rin's death, and when Madara proposed the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan, a plan in which everyone never had to suffer again in it. He agreed.

He came to Konoha because he wanted the nine tails. And also he blamed Minato for not being able to properly protect Rin.

Go to rain village and do what? It was war. And he killed all those soliders. His anger was more directed at Minato. Because to him it looked like he had failed and betrayed him. The person he trusted so much. It was a much more closer relationship and he felt heavily betrayed.

He was a heavily traumatized kid that went through a whole lot.

What good would telling Naruto about his father do? Enemies could still be lurking all around, and they can target Naruto if he goes around telling people that he's Minato's son.

He didn't take the best care of Naruto, all the hokage's did various mistakes. The show kinda explores on the mistakes of them and what it caused.

Also everyone hated Naruto, Could Hiruzen trust another person to take care of Naruto?

I already explained Danzo's situation, also Danzo kinda gave that order in secret, so Hiruzen wasn't aware. And even if he was, to him, his options could be as limited as Itachi, either kill the Uchiha, or everyone dies (though he could perhaps do some other stuff, again, he wasn't exactly aware of that last order).

Also you make it look like these characters should be perfect and never make any mistakes. Them making various mistakes and stuff is kinda part of the anime. Human in real life make mistakes all the time too. Especially if they are heavily traumatized kids.

Well, I can’t really explain 1 and 3 but I can explain Obito. He knew getting revenge would be pointless and a waste of time, so he focuses on creating a world where Rin exists. That’s about it.

Actually, I can explain Itachi as well. He knew that even if he killed Danzo, the Uchiha still would have made a coup de tat and revolted, so he took action and killed his family, which they still forgave him for.

But, yeah, Hiruzen is just straight up irresponsible and a dumbass lol
