I finished the first season and had the second mostly spoiled by the strange turns the manga took.
From what I remember that sets people off isn't Emma demanding to take the kids with them, isn't the double reverse shell game shenanigans. It's that, once again, in the end, Emma is still Emma.

Seeing this panel last year killed my interest in the series. Other than that I really don't know much. You probably made the right choice if you were already uninterested. It started out very strong but just couldn't keep it up.

at the end of the anime
basically emma says she doesnt want to kill all the demons while norman and the crew he has does. emma somehow convinces him and they use the blood of this one friendly demon to make demons not want to eat humans. then at the end everyone except emma ray and norman go to the human side of the world, and after a couple years, emma norman and ray come back
ik i didnt do the best job explaining it but it was pretty terrible and disappointing, considering how good the first season was.

If you are hating on Emma because of the Anime adaptation of the second season, then you are justified. However, if we are talking about the manga, don't y'all dare to talk shit about her, especially if you haven't read the manga, it's just being a clown at this point.
I'm saying this because of the panel of the first comment. People need to stop being so edgy and wishing for genocide all the god damn time and realize Emma is the best character of the whole manga, and her development and female lead is done so well.
The anime ruined her character but manga Emma is fantastic and entertaining, despite her over kindness, she's not "retarded". If you haven't read the manga, please do so, I would consider her an A tier Anime female protagonist.

  shes just loud and annoying and i havent read that much in the manga so if i did then maybe i would justify hating on her less
