  I sadly have to agree with @cornless, no matter who wrote this it still doesn't feel good, lets hope it gets better in later episodes

    the thing is most of the time Konosuba's writing alone wasn't what made the show great. It was always a combination of great writing with great animation that complimented it. Right now the writing for CWBD is just okay, and the animation quality isn't nearly as good as Konosuba was. Hopefully the series picks up steam over the next few weeks.

Amazing first episode that managed to give me plenty of laughs!
I like the justification for any poblems that Rokugo may cause.
Japanese to Snow absolutely killed me.
There are fany meme potential faces.
I can say, it retained the comedy!

First episode was absolutely hilarious I loved it!
The konosuba reference came unexpected but it cracked me up too much XD
This will be a few good laughs as this continues on and I'm looking forward to it^^

Maybe it's just me, but weren't they talking like REALLY fast? They were just talking and talking and talking without giving the meaning of the words(aka the jokes) enough time to breath, which made them significantly more unfunny + the animation is weird. Either that or I have a bad case of "The manga was better"-Syndrome.
Also, for people pointing out the Konsuba reference, it's from the same author.^^

  Definetly, only 32 Chapters are out at the moment, so it's a really light but very entertaining read.

It certainly lacks the flair that konosuba has. Laughed once in the entire episode and that's when I saw that the loli had the shotgun with her even when tied up. But everything else was kinda meh.

I see that people are either hating or loving this. Personally, I loved this episode. Alice is already Loli of the Year, and Snow wasn't bad too. The protagonist looks like Hachiman, but he's nothing like him. He's basically Kazuma but more dumb and lewd.
The red desert setting reminds me of early Gurren Lagann... it would be nice if it wasn't the only similarity. The beginning of the episode made me hope that they would be visiting more worlds later, which certainly would be interesting.
The Dick Festival joke made me laugh harder than it should, but I guess most people would find it cringe and I can't be surprised.
The girl from the next episode preview looks kinda badass.

It doesn't really have the Konosuba feel but that's not a bad thing, I don't think it's wise going into it expecting to be like Konosuba. Has for the first episode I had a couple of laughs, loved the explosion reference and the characters seem ok so far. I can see a lot of people not liking the MC for being very perverted and kind of a scumbag, but I mean so is Kazuma although this one doubles on it. I don't expect it to be as good as Konosuba, so i'm watching already with this mindset.

Fricking amazing XD Seems like an interesting plot with interesting world and characters. The humour was exactly what I would had expected from Natsume Akatsuki and the animation/art seemed perfectly fine. Excited for the next episode!

I like the character dynamics so far. It seems like a show that's just fun to watch (like Konosuba). I also liked that they mixed the kind of interactions No. 6 had with the other characters. They have the same "best friend" vibes that Konosuba nails, in that the characters do like each other, and yet will totally screw with each other at the same time. I'll be excited to see how this all develops, since we can't tell too much in the first episode.

While I didn’t think this was bad as some ppl like to think, I kinda thought at the beginning it threw a ton of concepts at the viewer, plus the characters we speaking hella fast, and I got a little confused time and time again.

Near the end I got more invested and was able to l o l more since I was able to process what the fuck was going on. Bottom line I think this has got something goin for it, and imma continue to watch it.

Not bad but not amazing. The jokes were definitely formed better in the light novel, felt a little rushed at times.
