Lets talk about: JUJUTSU KAISEN

Huh? This is only for the anime right? You've included the manga tags... I’m guessing it’s because you’re asking for the opinions of manga readers too.

• Both openings are amazing but I prefer the first because it's E ve
• Very flashy animation. I liked the animation for Megumi's max elephant, Yuuji's divergent fists and Gojo's domain expansion
• Story isn't anything special imo. I enjoyed the Junpei and Origin of obedience arcs.
• I love all the characters. I especially love Nanamin and Gojo
• By ending, you mean ending song? Or the ending of the season??? I'm confused.

Openings were fire! I especially liked the first one, just cuz it's Eve. The second opening is also a bop, but for some reason it just sounds quieter in episodes.
It isn't even an argument when I say that this show had some top-tier animations. The director has quickly become one of my recent favorite directors in anime. I'm hype to see more of his works in the future.
Story-wise, it doesn't really put anything new on the table, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's simple and uses a lot of the shounen-action formula, but it works.
I kinda like Itadori's character, he get's into a lot of situations where he has to make difficult choices and I notice the growth in his character. Sukuna, is a pretty interesting antagonist in the sense that he's mysterious. I wanted to see more of him taking control of Itadori's body, but I'm fine with them sort of teasing how intimidating he is.
Both endings slap. The first one is fucking bop, the second one is also a bop, but with a bit of tears.

Openings: Both are bangers! I was so hyped to see an artist I've been following for a while (Eve) be part of it, he deserves so much more love! Vivid vice also grew on me and I'm going to check out Who-ya's discography eventually :>

Not too familiar with visuals from a critical standpoint but I really love the intricate things that change in the first OP as the story progressed. And also i was one of those who were tricked by the opening with junpei, i thought he was going to be in jujutsu high ;;

Animation: as mentioned, not a huge critic with animation but it looks smooth and the battles look stunning!! :D I love how the more comedic and cartoony parts blend in as well

Story: Even as someone who's not the most exposed to battle shounen, I feel like the story is pretty okay and not much has happened so far? (While things have happened, they often felt like appetizers over main courses if that makes sense) That said the first season (I'm an anime-only watcher) feels a lot like a setup and buildup of amazing things to come in future!

Characters: I'm in love with the main cast. I can't help myself. They're all really charming :D That said, I really hope there's more to them than what we've given so far. It feels like there's so much more to explore about their characterizations and ideals, and I look forward to growing to love them even more from there

Ending: EDs?? I love both too, both the songs themselves and the way they're presented. The second one in particular felt really bittersweet. :'))

Opining: OP1>OP2. Wouldn't say the best openings I've seen but definitely up there. Both songs were fucking bangers.

Animation: High Tier animation. MAPPA do be putting in work as usual and it shows. Although, I wouldn't say it's the best I've seen like others claim. My preferred animation style is more in line with that of kyoto animations/Ufotable.

Story: Honestly didn't care much for the story, It's pretty meh, similar to that of demon slayer for the most part. Idk why, guess the whole 'curses' concept never really resonated with me all that much...

Characters: Never really got attached to any of them. My love for them is purely based on their level of badassery (Gojo can have my babies btw) rather than their character/personality which I guess for a shonen is fine....? I feel like too many characters were introduced way too quickly which probably resulted in me finding it hard to bond or feel for any of them. Hopefully later seasons take some time to flesh most of them out instead of throwing characters at us and hoping it sticks... Will admit tho that character designs are pretty damn good.

Ending: Ending 1 was a fucking banger, ending 2 was your standard ending, nothing too special and pretty much skipped it every-time.

All & all, it was just another high quality standard shonen imo. An entertaining watch where you can just turn your brain off and enjoy the gorgeous animation and fight sequences with some pretty funny humor on the side.

Opening: Both openings are fire. Kaikai Kitan (I think I´m spelling it right) by E ve got me into J-pop and I haven´t look back. Overall I prefer Kaikai Kitan more than the second OP; however Vivid Vice is also fire. I love especially during vivid vice the music builds to a specific point where you feel like the singer/artist is yelling but at the same time, their voice feels restrained. It really pulls at the heart and it kinda hearts tbh.

Animation: It's always been super good however you could obviously see the budget hit during the kyoto exchange event. But that was really the only time throughout the entire season that there was any ¨bad¨ animation. (and it wasn´t even that bad, just rough around the edges).

The story is very epic as well. It only gets better in the manga and if done right we´re going to have some amazing new seasons. We will suffer, cry, and beg for mercy. One particular thing I love overall about the story is it feels like there are stakes. Alot of anime and just shows, in general, have a hard time making it feel like the Main characters could fail and if they do...well we´re all screwed. And in Jujutsu Kaisen I think they do this great. I mean I´ve been so used to characters having infinite plot armor that when Itadori´s friend (Iḿ blanking on his name) dies I expected him to come back to life an episode later. And then after a couple of episodes passed I was like :/ ¨he really ded...oof¨

I love the characters. The character dynamics are amazing. Itadori and Nobara are basically Connie and Sasha. They both share one brain cell. and After ep. 17 Nobara will forever be best girl. Just overall fun comedic relationships

I don´t love the endings as much as the openings but I do think the visuals for the second ED They are on point and enjoyable to watch. I´ve never skipped it so just shows that the song is good!

Overal its a great show. The comedy always hits and it hits hard. When I´m watching I´m either always smiling or I have constant poggers face

Opening: it has some of the best openings for me in recent time
Animation: animation is good, fight animation is also smooth to watch
Story: story is not its strongest forty but the world it is trying to build is nicely presented. If you are keen in watching shounen anime you will feel it is just right your alley.
Characters: you can just watch this anime in order to see the character. It has great main character Yuuji and has nice spirit, supporting character is also loveable. Satoru gojou is the main highlight of this anime.
Ending: I liked that the story is planned nicely and its lives you hanging for next season. But the anime is hyped too much.

Opening -
I love both openings, the animation in the second opening is insane. Also there are actually a lot of hidden easter eggs in both openings which is pretty cool.

Animation -
The animation, specifically in the fight scenes is top tier but there are also non-fight scenes which go heavily underrated - for example the scene with Maki and Mai as kids was so beautifully animated.

Story -
The story definitely becomes more clear and in depth later on in the manga. I didn't start reading the manga until about episode 10, however I still was able to get a grasp on the bigger picture. On a surface level it's very similar to other popular shounens, but as soon as Megumi explained that curses are manifested through negative human emotions... I knew the story was much deeper than everyone seems to think (also there is A LOT of foreshadowing). JJK explores the meaning behind death and life very well and I can't wait to see it develop in the manga and anime.

Characters -
One thing I love about the characters is that everyone has a story. No one truly feels like a side character. Nobara and Maki are definitely the most well written women characters i've seen in Shounen so far. Can the JJK women be explored more? Yes, but Nobara and Maki's characters are just a small step to seeing properly written women characters and it was just so refreshing to see. Itadori is an awesome MC, can't wait til his background is revealed.

Ending -
Both endings are cool and catchy. Ending 2 is so heartbreaking as it gives you a realisation that after Itadori has collected the fingers - he'll be executed.

i enjoyed it a lot when i watched it. i rewatched it too, which i rarely do, and took the time to see jjk0 in theaters (which was not quite so good). i would say its one of my favorite shonen. watching it is worth basically everyone's time (although if you have a gojo pfp you probably agree with this already)

it's cool

It was good, not really a "great" show for me but definitely something i very much enjoyed. Aoi Todo is the hottest dude though.
