there's not going to be a part 3. part 2 will have 12 episodes that will cover the rest of the manga.
It won't be able to cover the rest in just 12 episodes. At least 18 if not even 24 episodes would be needed.
I could totally see them making it another 16 episodes and then just concluding it as a movie
there's only 23 chapters left, they were doing 2 at a time for final season for the most part, but switched about half way, so I could see 16 episodes being the most likely, wouldn't mind it if it was more tho
Imagine all of this is the phantom blood of the series
To be fair, s2 was phantom blood imo
but i wouldn't mind it if s4 p2 is even better lol
Im dropping AOT if there comes a final season part 3
Cool.
OP face right now

0/10 no chimera ant arc or any Hxh arcs in general
Your loss lmfao
there's not going to be a part 3 lol
Ok thx for informing us lol
just read the manga man. It's low key better.
lmao no, it isn't
how is black and white images better than an adaptation
I don't agree that it's better, I would say that reading the Manga allows you not to be spoiled (unless your incredible at avoiding them) whilst still being able to fully enjoy the series when it releases. Obviously, either way the series is incredible
Implying that an anime adaption is always better and downplaying the great strengths manga offers is really silly imo
History's biggest bruh moment
I'm two parallel universes ahead of you man. I can't even be bothered to watch the 1st part of final season LMAO
Hype died for AoT. I don't even care anymore.
There wont be any ?
They can definitely finish it in a second part. If they keep a 2 chapter per episode pace, it can be finished in 12 eps.
I would get mad but i wont drop it
stop the cap
Shit only 23 chapters??? It feels like so much has happened that I was sure there were at least 40 chapters left
That's because each chapter is 45-47 pages. It's more than double the size of the norm of 20 pages which vinland saga focuses around, for example.
there are 23 chapters left, if we assume they will adapt 2 chapters per episode then part 2 will def have 12 episodes
the first 3 chapters at the beginning are just fighting ig it'll take 1 ep to cover the first few chapters before you know what happens
i think 24 ep
coz from 90chp to 110 chp 17 ep so 30 chpt 24 maybe
90 to 116 took 16 episodes, the anime is caught up to chapter 116. There's less content remaining than what the first part adapted. Expect 16 episodes at most.
less content fine but even u see there are some so many action scenes which may take like 1 ep or more per chapter i think
anything can happen right?
Action scenes are usually faster than dialogue
Anyway I think 15-16 eps are ideal
They could easily adapt it in 16 episodes. There's not a lot more left tbh.
Also, what's with people thinking movies are just some short thing? A movie is usually ~ 6-8 episodes worth of content. Having 16 episodes and a movie would be overkill. Having a 24 episode season would literally be less than 1 chapter an episode and would also be overkill. Expect about 12-16 episodes for the final season part.
L
That didn't age well
yep. utter clownery
chimera arc was long but cool. i always forget hxh exists since i watched it a few years ago but yea it deserved at least an hm
HxH is extremely dragged out, none of the arcs really deserve to be mentioned. Hot take, but that's how I see it
You don’t deserve an opinion you isekai lover because Hxh has so much more symbolism than any other anime wished they had
symbolism? You call HxH full of symbolism? What symbolism lol. Maybe I missed stuff so please inform me. Also, symbolism doesn't even mean it's good, there's plenty of shows out there that have symbolism that falls flat.
And isekai lover? I'll have to go through my list again to make sure, but I think I only have 2 isekai on there? I don't watch things seasonally so I don't watch many isekai
Oh well your a lost cause I won’t tell you the greatness that is Hxh due to your rude attitude as a person. Stick to some generic fantasy anime because you are the type of people that I hate even more than casuals. If you really want to hear about the symbolism of Hxh just search it up because isn’t that common sense. Knowing you, you’ll say “Ha you don’t even know about the symbolism in Hxh” but in reality it is just on the internet if you really are curious. Your above the level of a casual because you are a toxic anime fan.
Well that's the second attack you've made to defend your point plus a false assumption about someone you don't even know. Think what you want about me if you really feel the need to defend yourself like that. Meanwhile I will look stuff up just to satisfy you.
Also, you might want to come up with a better attack. HxH is a popular anime and watching it doesn't make you not casual. It IS the casual anime in this case...
Last ninja War (Naruto)
never finished it. i stopped ar chunin
So tell me then, how is the manga better?
Well for starters on a pure basic level not exclusive to AOT, anime never replaces manga. I don't care how good the adaption is or how bad the manga may be. An anime adaption never replaces a manga. This is because of the unique strengths manga has and the same for the anime. People read or watch for different reasons and just because one has motion doesn't mean the still pages can't be just as dynamic in their own right. Manga is about each panel, how these panels make us feel, their size, the page turn in anticipation. So many fun quirks that make it engaging that an anime simply can't do for the audience. Fights on page have a different flow to them and between person to person can be more enjoyable due to its quicker pace and great panels. Disregarding all that is just naive. You are welcome to enjoy anime as a medium more but understand one isn't objectively superior. So basically each medium has its own set of pros and cons. In terms of the AOT manga specifically I would argue excluding my previous points the manga could be argued as better due to it containing all of the mangaka's intent. The anime cuts alot of things out. If some do not mind this that is perfectly fine but many want to see everything the mangaka had in mind from start to finish and reading the manga is the purest form of achieving that. Some may enjoy the style of the manga a little more, some may dislike the cgi use of the latest season and some just may want to catch up to the manga without risk of spoilers. Point is there are many reasons one would like the manga over the anime and even if you don't you can't argue an adaption replaces the manga especially since at the end of the day anime are supposed to advertise the manga.
I haven't read much manga so I was not talking generally, only about the AOT manga
The anime cuts alot of things out.
I started reading the manga from chapter 110 and so far S4 has adapted it faithfully
But I have heard that WIT cut out a lot of part from the uprising arc(S3 P1)
Some may enjoy the style of the manga a little more
I personally don't think that AOT's art is good. The art for me is bearable and thank god colored chapters are available
and some just may want to catch up to the manga without risk of spoilers
That's not a reason. It's just stupid fans who do not realize that anime-onlys exist and spoil like crazy
Plus one of the biggest downside is there is no music/OSTs/VAs
AOT's osts and voice actors are really amazing and you don't get that in the manga
Of course, there are other mangas such as kingdom and berserk that are better than their adaptations but I don't see how AOT manga is superior to the anime
Well I was more talking about the different strengths of manga and anime. You clearly like what anime offers alot more and that's fine but even if there is a good adaption it doesn't replace the manga. A good or even incredible berserk adaption wouldn't just replace the manga as the art is great and people will still love it.
AoT manga specifically? The art is significantly more detailed in later chapters (the art of the early chapters is pretty bad) and the manga has content that's been cut. Anime doesn't usually have a lot of pluses over the original manga, it's essentially just adding color, movement (although ironically sometimes the manga has more movement than the anime, OPM is a good example of that where the animation is top notch but the manga is so detailed and elaborate that many of the action scenes have more movement to them than what the anime gave), voice acting, and music.
The art is significantly more detailed in later chapter
Some panels are really bland I guess, especially during the fight scenes in chapter 134-136
it's essentially just adding color, movement, voice acting, and music.
That's pretty much all it takes to enhance the experience
Some panels doesn't speak for the whole thing, otherwise I'd be pulling up the unfinished frames this past season of the anime. I don't think that's a valid critique.
That's pretty much all it takes to enhance the experience
Yeah it enhances the experience you could say. Although I'd argue the only thing really enhancing is the music if you have any semblance of an imagination. Sometimes such "enhancements" are really detriments, and that's one of the main differences, take berserk or the recent ex-arm as an example of that. In AoT's case I wouldn't call any of it detriments though with maybe the exception of color which is usually a primary reason behind animation being less detailed than it's original counterpart, so it really comes down to preference.
From my experience and having seen all AoT 4 times (3 in anime and 1 in the manga), at least for me I find the anime x100 times better, AoT is the perfect example of how a really good animation and soundtrack can make a good story into something magistral.
The anime always makes me feel a ton of emotions and the manga mostly 1 or 2 at most at least for me, although I did enjoy the manga, I'm not saying is bad.
