WHAT DID I JUST WATCH LMAO. What a joke of a finale...
Yep, this finale was a joke and not even a good one...
Even without knowing the Manga, this season and especially the finale felt so incredibly rushed... What a waste of potential. The travel, planning and attack against the royals could've been an entire season worth of content, if not more.
The whole episode felt like the 2 year jump in SAO. Why trash so much content, just to rush the whole story? The first season was a masterpiece, every scene, every word was OOZING with meaning, with so many plot twists that M. Night Shyamalan would be envious of it. But this season? good god...
Season 2 can be summed up with 3 words: unneeded jump cuts.
All the events portrayed in the slideshow looked more hype than the entire fucking season smh. Last scene was nice tho
That last scene would have been nice to me as well but I can't be emotional over a series that I am now ampathetic to no matter if it has emotional scenes. There is no backbone to make me care anymore so they all fall flat. Such a shame really.
Yeah:(
lesssss goo this trashcan is finally finisheddd
They obviously went a different route to finish it this season. I'm reading the manga right now and emma went to the goldy pond. Im so sad they skipped over that arc. For the route they chose imo it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Welp, we did it, guys. We just finished one of the worst follow-up seasons to an acclaimed television show ever created. Truly rivals season 8 of both Dexter and Game of Thrones. That musical slideshow near the end sure was pretty, wasn't it? Would've preferred a fully fleshed out and animated arc explaining what took place within those three minutes but the writers probably would've messed that up, too. At least this way they mercifully euthanized the show before it could suffer any longer.
I'm gonna pretend this didn't happen lmao
Sorry I'm French if the translation is not perfect ^^
Overall the anime was really good, no complaints about season 1 which is just gorgeous, unfortunately season 2 which doesn't follow the manga was a big mistake! Because as the author says, season 2 will be original, and in no way related to the manga. Unfortunately I can't help but have been mistaken for a pigeon! Season 2 boils down to an end rush copy paste of the manga which dares to end its season on images, events impossible to remove and which creates enormous inconsistencies at the end of the series! I especially think that the anime ran out of time or money, because messed up at this point the season strongly overwhelms me. I wanted to read the manga to form my own opinion and I strongly recommend it, especially to understand the fairly massive inconsistencies in the animate
I really enjoyed the PowerPoint presentation!
I have no words to express how disappointed this adaptation was, at least i will say, the music it's really good.
With the last episode I was expecting the worst...and I'm still baffled how much they messed it up. I consider season 1 as one of the best anime I have seen...and season 2 without a doubt as one of the absolute worst
lmao they went to new york, thats kinda based haha

phil on the f train staring at the mentally ill people harassing the other passengers

HAHAHA 1 WTC fuckin based im glad this is post 9/11, maybe emma will have the cajones to get rid of cuomo and deblasio
I'm just so disappointed. I read the manga, thought it was a masterpiece, then watched the anime. I liked season 1 a lot, it adapted the manga amazingly. All I can hope for is that they redo it maybe. They could probably adapt the manga really well in like 3 or 4 more seasons, so I just hope at some point that happens. Though I won't get my hopes up. It's just truly a shame. I legitimately feel bad for the anime-onlys because they may not ever be able to experience the greatness that is The Promised Neverland in it's entirety. At least it's over now though. Back to watching good anime.
After watching this I only got one impression:
This season and this final episode in particular was written in a way to make one thing sure:
-to make a further adaptation of the Manga impossible,
.there will never be a season 3 /probably
I never read the manga, so.. who am I to tell
Yeah I don't think there will be another season
0% chance for season 3
they wouldn't skip so many things if this wasn't a last season
yes... The slideshow at the end clearly get rid of all potential elements for a 3rd season -_-
Nice.
Rushed Shitfest
OST at the end was nice
umm...what even was that lmao
I'm glad this shitshow finally ended
So much stuff they explained went nowhere, and then they rush the ending so much that it was a fucking slide show, thank god the suffering is over
bruh what did i just watch.
yall see drippy don and phil in the train tho
So disappointed. I thought under before the last couples of minutes that we could have a season 3 with all the Goldy Pont, Lucas, Queen, the new promise thing, like, it was actually a pretty good idea.
But nop, that did with slideshow at the end that was worse a lot of ep (if not a full season to me tbh)
They could have at least gave us the name of the god please xDD
Still think that by following the manga, we could have had 4 seasons
s2 > Goldy pont arc
s3 > The new promise arc
s4 > The queen/new reign arc + the end
