mad?
goddamit, I was hoping some action in this episode but still made me hyped at the end
Imo it's better that they didn't have any action this episode, cuz that means that the next episode will have double the action
Can next week come already? Like damn so much good anime this week.
Not sure if im slow to catch on here but the Girl mentioned in the Revival of the dragon story is milim right?
yeah that's her. I'm so hyped for the next episode :D
The episode just had to end with a cliffhanger lol, anyways yeah episode 10 is going to be the best we’ve seen so far
I was so hyped about Rimuru crashing the army, but it turned out to be another 20 minutes of dialogues, a little bit disappointing. Now I'm extremely impatient for the next week :x
dont give in to temptation and read the manga, stay for the anime. Your gonna love what's in for next week. :D
was gonna tell you to read the manga but you've already done that lol
they had a shit ton of dialogue though in the manga for before and after the fights. Next episode won't be Rimuru vs humans too. Probs gonna end with him entering the camp. It will just be Hakorou and Geld vs OtherWorlders.
That's my prediction.
But "Megiddo", the title for the next episode, is the title of chapter 65 in the manga
"where Rimuru kills everyone." <---lol some mod edit my comment and put this under a spoiler tag. Its not a spoiler, Rimuru literally says he is gonna wipe out the entire army last episode.
Now this is a spoiler
Chapter 66, titled Merciless, is when they confront the king and Rimuru starts his evolution and summons Diablo
Ye but he may not wipe out the srmy. He may fail.
This episode was ok, it's not easy to take the decision to kil 10000 humans, so we and Rimuru got reminded that this is his friends, his nation, and this family, thus he has to protect them at any cost, and with those dialogues everyone got their wills back, I found it reasonable before a fucking 10k ppl massacre.
Murder and Torture are always ok in anime. Redo of Healer taught us that. 20,000 people, pshhhh that's nothing. Even in real life, Hitler put that to shame. I want to see Rimuru kill 20k people, I couldn't care less if it was justified.
Lmaooo why didn’t he just black flame the entire Army he woul’ve killed all of them in seconds
Man, without the barrier those travelers will be so fcked up tha i'm kinda feel bad for them.
Just kidding... Torn them apart.
I am very excited for next week's episode, but, even they are monsters, I do find it a bit weird that their morale can go from 0 to 100 that quickly after losing so many comrades. Even if they can revive the fallen, 3% is still pretty low, and I definitely wouldn't have minded if some people doubted Rimuru's plan.
Man i was ready to see a massacre, little dissappointing. But i guess this wholesome speech and the cliff hanger aint so bad either.
This one was a bit slow but the next one is gonna be lit, sadly only 3 ep left :/
let’s fucking go! revenge on those mfs happening next episode
This season is paced so weirdly. In some areas it's slow and in others, it just skips/speeds past entire scenes that would really benefit the show.
I was so sad when this episode opened up with a rehash of Milim's story from last episode. I had a lot higher expectations.
Still enjoying the series, but the last 3 episodes have been a bit underwhelming for me.
the first 15 mins is basically just recap the series and the later half is for prep-work....This is kinda of the thing i somewhat hate in season 1, they spend a lot of time stretching thing like this and make the ep feel way too long than it need to be.
While I do agree that some of the things they do in each episode seem a little too dragged on, it also doubles as more suspense for what will happen in the next episode.
I do believe however that next episode will have the actual Rimuru massacre and him gaining enough human souls to evolve into a true demon lord. I just want to see Hakurou say his badass line (and hope the anime doesn't cut it out)
unlike other anime with 12 eps so they cut out a lot of thing, Tensei slime has 24 eps, that is why it can drag out thing.
While I am hype on what will happen next, I am curious on how the show will actually end. Will it end with Rimuru finishing his demon lord transformation? Or will it end when he summons diablo and the gang? Who knows
Episode pissed me off
tbh probably my favorite ep in the entire series, holy sht I can't wait to see the next one.
Ive reread the manga so many times so ive kinds screwed myself over
King would have died as well, he needs the king to take responsibility for his actions. He doesn't have info on who the king is or if he is a body double.
That's because you're a nutter.
Seriously straight in with the godwin's law, like really? If Redo Healer has taught us anything it's that people are nutters, like you.
And I like Redo Healer not because it's good, no because it's ridiculous. It's written like the ramblings of an edgy teen. This seems to be a major narrative failing of this series if how it proceeds is correct.
Just brushing off 10,000 people dead, good or bad because we need to make a joke about Shion's food being bad. Well if that's your story telling chops then you've left me terribly disappointed.
wdym, Redo of Healer is 10/10. I don't care if it was written well, it's enjoyable to watch for me. LMAO I am not watching anime to analyze every little detail about it. What can I say, revenge is really fun to watch. Rimuru is about to murder everyone without mercy and I am going to enjoy it so much.
Anime is just entertainment, they aren't going to teach history in school with Isekai animes lol.
and honestly, I really don't give two fucks about disappointing a random weeb who thinks he knows everything about telling a story. If it's fun to watch, it's fun to watch, nothing more to it. If it's not enjoyable to watch because you think you can tell a better story, then don't watch it. Criticism and comments from the west won't stop an anime from airing every week.
Well you enjoy your hate boner freak and i'll dislike my poor narrative story telling.
I'm not against such a situation within a narrative, but this is yet another failure in tone for a coherent narrative such as found in this show in particular. The writing comes across as either shallow or childish, with this half-baked moral crisis.
This show has been nothing but idealistic, but now we have "realism". It would've been better if Rimuru got his Demon Lord power from killing Clayman, and then resurrected everyone, 10,000 humans included. At least that would've been in keeping. Not this shite.
Clayman is still gonna die from Rimuru killing him so thats lit.
Just go watch any anime reaction youtube video, everyone is hyped for this massacre. A majority of people is hyped for the massacre. That part where he casually tells Youm to be king is comedy, this show has comedy. Making a joke about Shion cooking after the massacre is funny to most people. If you want realism and good storytelling then go watch AoT. This show is just exciting to be along with for the ride.
The route that the author, who spent time creating all the characters and setting, took and the route a random weeb who thinks he knows how to tell a story suggested would have the same effect. People won't care about the ressurection as much as the killing. Just be happy there is a story about a reincarnated op slime for you to talk about. Your not the one telling the story and you have zero influence on what the author writes or whether the anime gets canceled. Nobody is forcing you to read the story, and your not getting paid to watch it. Just stop bitching about small shit like that because there is literally no point.
And most people don't watch Redo of Healer because they expect a deeply emotional journey of ups and downs, they watch it to enjoy the revenge story filled with epic moments.
Huh... If you want to see unjustified violence and killing go for something like Berserk, Corpse Party or Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Tensei Shitara tells the story of a king who wants peace.
Thanks for the recommendations though the first Berserk was made in 1997, not watching that. Old animes look old(obviously lol). If the story is good, cool, the art looks awful, I am not going to bother. The art looks like something that aired on those cube televisions in 144p in my grandma's school when they are watching documentaries. I am ok with a bad story/plot but with crisp art and animation, can't stand the other way around. Its just not that enjoyable, I might as well just read the LN instead.
Corpse Party is just a 10 min horror.
Higurashi seems alright because it's a recently made anime. Anything that's really old is not enjoyable to watch because most of the time it's either bad quality or bad art. Like why does everyone in Code Geass have long-ass limbs? The only exception is probably Clannad with their really large eyes but I mostly skimmed through it. Might check it out.
Also no matter how any story progresses, I side with the main character. Rimuru knowing who to give a fuck about and who not to is awesome. Rimuru can do whatever he wants, justified or not, and this show is still a 10/10. A wholesome character turning dark just because he can is awesome.
Someday you will understand how good old animation is
What a god awful take....
lol, it's not enjoyable to watch low-quality anime. I rather read the manga or the light novel than sit through 12-13 episodes of disproportionate characters and bland backgrounds.
