since your into this kinda trope i would definitely recommend C.O.E, im re-reading it myself. Though i would really only give the light novel a shot. The manga cuts off a ton material and the anime had bias so there way more focus on other characters.

I’ve never read light novels before and am not sure whether or not I’ll like it. I’ll give the manga a try though given your recommendation! Ty, I’ll let you know what I think of it when I get to it eventually

I think the manhwa is much better than the novel. I loved the MC and the manhwa in general and liked the story in the LN as well. But he writing in the webnovel is amateurish to say and it just couldn't keep my interest after I read around 200 chapters.
Unfortunately, the adaption is weekly and adapts around one novel chapter or less. Considering the novel has 600+ chapters in around 3 years if I'm not mistaken, it needs to pick up the pace.
