[Spoilers] That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 - Episode 6 Discussion

The episode was great but now I'm kinda confused on the sequence of events because of Rimuru with the kids in season 1.

Rimuru has some serious patience, he tries to talk it out with Hinata after finding out what's going on. Most people would go berserk realizing their village is being attacked under a barrier that makes its inhabitants weakened.

That bitch really thinks she is more powerful than the main character lmao, fucking side characters be thinking too highly of themselves.

i think she should have killed the slime and ended this story and canceled the rest of this shitshow. that would've been actually cool

Tldr: Hate everything being so black and white atm (humans bad, rest good). The stuff happening behind the scenes has been done quite well, tho!

As for some rant & rambling,

Am I the only one who's decently frustrated by the fact all the humans are made to look so evil n all right now. I mean,

• Hinata probably has backstory-related reasons which we are yet to know, fair nuff. I'm, looking forward to learning more bout them later in the series. She's still frustrating af right now, tho -.-
• The otherworlder trio seems to exist just to be hated atm. I kinda hoped they would have seen people of Tempest are great and just joined the party. I especially had hope for the sword guy but he seems to be the nuttiest of them all :D

As for the rest, mainly the knights, I guess there's reason for the most, mainly just humanity having a bad history with any and every monster who ever existed, or everyone working for their country being automatically a badddiee (the former trade capital ppl u know)

The politics are great, though while a great portion of the magic lies in the fact we don't really know much. I wonder how are the different factions connected right now. We've got
1) Clayman seemingly influencing Falmuth, but
is he also the one getting the info towards ingrassia.
2) How bout Carrion waging war against Milim while she doesn't seem problematic (again something we don't know bout yet)

Interesting stuff

Bit surprised that they'd start burning the whole town, thought they'd have a little more of a fight going on. Of course the fact none of them died on screen tells you everything that oh look they're going to have been saved by something something next episode.
Honestly the cliffhanger has made me interested in this series again, and the chaos because the down time really dragged this series down for my engagement

I am expecting that either Rimuru turn into a different monster completely and make him needing another 7 hits to kill or....
Due to being a human before, the sword doesn't have a full effect on him.

Honestly it really did make me anxious about the next episode, so far it's better than the second half first season

SOOO many cliffhangers. But I mean that's so hella enjoyable. I believe that Rimuru definitely won't die, nor will the secretary of his because well... They're the main characters and judging from the thumbnail of the Season 2 Part 2 I feel like 2nd part will be an all-out war with a demon lord and the other nation? Oh and I also want to see the dragon that's inside Rimuru helping him. I bet he's gonna be OP

Ok, so the dragon Veldora Tempest flashed on screen at the begin when Rimuru Was talking to the kids. Is this foreshadowing?!! Why did this happen even? Veldora is trapped in that force field thing so can Rimuru transform into him or nah?

I did not watch motherfucking Slime Isekai so I could watch some near death battle for the protagonist while the village gets burned to the ground with the use of these plot convienient power takers. Have the people making the series even compared these last two episodes to the first season? You are appealing to overly dramatic for no reason multiple episodes for just one fight fans when the first season hooked in lighthearted OP isekai fans, complete opposite sides of the spectrum, I was worried about this happening since they introduced Milim with her ability to just stop the MC from improving because of plot convenience but goddamn, I will quit this series soon if they keep up this shit.

Last episode we saw Shion almost get stabbed, Hakurou and Gobta severely injured and RIMURU ALMOST DIE LIKE I'M TERRIFIED!
Although I think that we will soon see Rimuru go on a journey to get stronger and hopefully free Veldora.

The animation is the reason why some people prefer the manga.

A plot convenience is an element of the story (an event, a certain behavior, a coincidence etc…) that doesn't really make sense in the context but is necessary for the writer who wants the plot to take another direction. Not rly happy with how this episode got there. that barrier is pure bs. Maybe i just haven't payed attention to the lore of the word but that barrier looks like the biggest bs.
