Eh it’s not just that.
In basic form of screenwriting and time management, it’s terrible just because they kept on putting fillers. The first four episodes a good 80% of them were fillers: showing what they did in the bunker, walking around, putting plants and hunting when they showed that in EVERY episode and there was no point on showing it again, just for all of that unnecessary filler to go to waste and skip a whole year ahead. And the episode was questionable too with odd fillers as well. With what we have now, because we don’t know what lies ahead, it is most definitely a terrible episode because all the progress made is gone. It’s kinda the same argument as “the prequels are better/worse” like that thing that Star Wars fans have. It’s just based on opinion so idk why people r fighting on these comments so aggressively!
I haven’t read the manga up to that point yet, so I’m forming my opinion solemnly based on what I saw on this last episode.
