In every fandom, there's always toxicity and there's definitely more or less depending on the fandoms. For Bleach, when I was into the fandom years ago, was chilled and relaxed for the most part. There wasn't anything toxic that made the community stand out, but there definitely were toxic people who would put others down for enjoying fillers, characters that you like that they didn't (e.g. Orihime), who Ichigo can or cannot beat, etc.
It also greatly depends on the platform where the fandom resides on. The Bleach community on Reddit can be toxic sometimes; but mostly discuss the manga, their hype for the new anime adaption, theories, and share memes. On YouTube, there's a lot of videos that critize Bleach's plotline and story-telling and there tends to be an agreement with the fans about it. Usually, I see arguments happen whenever you try to say something like "Goku can beat Ichigo". Even on TikTok and Tumblr, the fandom is pretty chil
The most toxic fandom, so far, is the My Hero Academia fandom. The Reddit community is a lot less toxic than the community on TikTok, Twitter, Tumblr. Because on those sites, no matter what you do or say, you'll always be met with opposition from a handful of people, and get targeted for it. This happens on TikTok and Twitter so much. The main thing that makes BHA fandom toxic is the shipping wars of non-canonical pairings (it's a discussion for another day because there's so much crazy shit that happens in that fandom)
TL:DR: Bleach is more chill than toxic

i feel enlightened @MaidensBeloved , I think that bleach fandom is bit toxic when it comes to putting opinions like i used to be in some GCs about bleach when i watched it and most of the time people were shitting on each other...and about BHA fandom, i totally agree with you, i feel like all the new gen anime fandoms are comparatively more toxic than earlier ones because they're filled with 12y/o kids
