I was a bit confused about that as well because they really make it seem like the prom and graduation is for them, but it's actually for the year ahead of them, and they're just the ones planning it.

Ah ok that's what I was thinking. So to clarify, Iroha is in first year, the main cast is second and the prom was held for the third and final year?
Just seems strange that with such a focus on accepting endings, they've still actually got another year. Would've made more sense to me if they went on their ways to further education e.t.c.

Yea main cast 2nd year, iroha first, and prom was for the 3rd years. The prom was more for Yukino then anything in the end as she used it because she wanted to show her mother she could do something on her own.
