noticed that they added Kugisaki and Principal Yaga to the picnic in the opening...

I swear if they add characters as they introduce them and then remove Junpei once he dies I will cry for days

Why does almost every shounen anime have the same kind of main character trio? It just feels kind of lazy. You almost always get the goofy main guy, the quiet guy and the hot-headed girl who'll tell the other two how silly/immature/dumb they are.

Because that’s shounen. It’s known for that and kinda expected. Shounen is a big aspect of this anime. Most Shounen have that sort of character stereotype.

  Still, seeing the same "goofy main guy, cool/quiet guy, hot-headed staple girl who'll tell the boys who immature/silly/dumb they are" all the time just becomes boring, at least in my opinion. Makes it harder to actually care about any of them.

The show is exceeding my expectations so far. The sound design was brilliant. The characters are lovable too! I'm really digging it and I can't wait for the rest of the season to be aired.
