  For me it was overwhelmingly bad, Animation alone can't carry an anime. Character development, Pacing ,Direction and Story awful awful awful. I was optimistic at first but last 4 episodes omg never seen an anime change this fast that bad.

    when I heard Jegal Taek's reason to be a villain I couldn't help but laugh. Him not wanting to be a loser is such a horrible storyline for a villain.
    Only thing I liked from the series was Jegal's voice acting as well as the animation.

It was a really bad adaption. Crunchyroll decided to cut out a lot of parts to show what happened in the end. This resulted in a very confusing story that understandably people would hate.
If I were them, I would have just adapted the tournament arc, and possibly changed it a bit to fit a one-cour anime.
Manhwa is a lot better though, I would suggest reading it

    I think you'd enjoy the manhwa more then :)
    The anime had some really good fights, but the overall plot and story weren't so great

My honest opinion about the show is that this show has very good fight animations ngl but couldve have made the anime a bit longer. They changed alot from the webtoon which I didn't like that much. But overall good show worth watching.

It was a series that I'd call good at best, but nothing more than that. First half of it was cool and all, but at around like the last few episodes or so I was like mmmm it's okay. It's something I'd watch for myself but not really confident to recommend to someone else like that.

Overrated and poorly executed not deserving of 74%. I knew from the 1st episode it sucked. How many of you with out reading the manga know the actual backstory of Jin? Crunchyroll should stop picking up webtoon because they ruin all of them.

It was a really but REALLY bad adaption, i really dunno what they were thinking about putting 100+ ep's on 13 episodes, but they skipped pretty much every important part and thing you could imagine. It ended up really sloppy and sadly really bad XD!

Anime-only point of view.
It was pretty enjoyable, despite everyone hating on it.
The animation was definitely better than your average fighting anime, the op & the ed are bangers, and here comes the plot.. As said earlier, as someone who's never read the manwha the story made sense to a certain extent. Some parts felt very rushed, for example the wedding arc. I'm kind of a maniac so I am sad there are a lot of chapters containing informations on the lore that got removed from the anime adaptation, but for a 13-episode long anime, it was inevitable.
To me the biggest problem was the rush parts who contributed to me not getting involved into the world and the characters despite liking the show pretty much overall.

The martial arts tournament arc was great, honestly every week I was hyped to see it. When they started with the special power stuff, I didn't think that was a bad idea, and honestly it was handled pretty good since the fights got even more hectic. Then when they started going on about the last stuff with Key and all that, it just felt flat for me. Was a bit confusing and jarring jumping from a martial arts with powers scene to some dude using a machine gun to fight a giant statue while some people were chanting or something. And the last few episodes were a bit meh, imo the final fights felt so flat despite how well they were animated.

It was enjoyable. I wouldn't call it dogshit or complete failure. But, Crunchyroll could have done better.
The have chance to redeem themselves if they learn their mistakes from this experiments and improve.

I dropped it btw so take my opinion abt it with a grain of salt but this is what you get when you max out animation and the soundtrack but forget abt the plot and character development. This is also what you get when the production company thinks its "just a battle shonen" which in that case is true but even in battle shonen's there's at least some if not a whole lot of character development. For example, Jin meets the "Divine Doctor" and in the same ep he gets a new skill? Without even the training arc?? Honestly y'all shouldn't even give Noblesse a shot at all whatsoever. Stick to source material unless its by a production company that can ACTUALLY pull off animating a webtoon.

The first episode was so good... Gave me a really good first impression, only for the anime to gradually become worse and worse until I just couldn't get myself to care, instead just laughing at whatever happened near the end.
The only positive it had for me was the animation and some of the comedy, but even it seemed kinda lazy at the end. Otherwise, it was filled with a kinda bloated cast of characters, and it failed to get me invested in anyone. There's the obvious pacing issue and the lack of explanations for almost everything, which just made the entire thing way too confusing.

Visually it was fine but everything else was a cluster fuck. Characters kept being introduced out of nowhere and then killed and the anime acted like we were supposed to care. Character motivations are also very vague or shallow as fuck, for example Taek JeGal (Blue hair dude) his motivation was literally to not be a loser that is it. Jin MoRi wanted to save his grandpa but instead fixes up some lost limbs? Have they not heard of prosthetics?
Why did Nox go through that whole marriage scheme to get Yu MiRa and her sword? It played ZERO part in the ending. I don't even understand Nox's plans to begin with, to get the key and kill God? Why was the God of Highschool tournament even created? why do they want the key?
I'm just left with more questions then answers after the ending, and not in a good way that makes me want to watch season 2.
After writing all this out I'm bumping my score down to 6.5/10.
