SchlinkySep 7, 202019 replies647 viewsWhat do you think of it I honestly just think it’s a 7.5 show. I mean it’s good it’s very hard to explain but it’s just underwhelming to watch. I would say the concept is cool but the way it’s executed in the show is not amazing.

For someone who read about 150 chapters of the original webtoon, it's very different and a lot scenes were cut out and changed. However, despite these changes I'm throughly enjoying. I've been wanting an Anime adaptation for this webtoon for so long and most of the action is FIRE. The characters are fun to watch and I'm just enjoying the ride.
I'd probably give it a solid 8/10.

I like the concept where skilled fighters can inherit power from myths / legends and how that is built around this big tournament arc with the ultimate goal to find the "key" who inherits the ultimate power.
The problem is everything involving Nox so far has been stupid and/or confusing, also the powers are taking away from the fighting rather then adding onto it so instead of actual fights we're just getting two random magic things clashing into each other and causing an explosion.
It's still fairly entertaining though and has it's good moments so I think a 7.5/10 suits it.

It's the same as Tower of God, they try to cut stuff and push more action into the anime because it's only 12 episodes. that's why they failed both of these stories.
I think these two had the potential to become long animes like naruto, but I think them, trying to force the story to go faster and show more action, limits the opportunities it will have in the future.

I do agree that the show is a bit rushed and they could've explained the power systems and Nox a bit better but I decided to watch the show just cuz of fights and freaky powers and shit and so far I'm not disappointed

It's really enjoyable to watch 1 episode a week, however I don't think I'd stand to bingewatch this series because it is so rushed and a lot is left unexplained. That would bother me a lot. However now when only 1 episode a week is coming out I would sit down for it and enjoy the fightscenes without bothering about the plot too much. Could have been a lot better, but its decent entertainment.

Its good action but the story just literally makes no sense to me and everything is moving so fast that it is so hard to understand the plot. At this point i'm only watching it for the fight scenes

The Good Part:
I have mixed feelings about it. There were some parts I like about it but the part I only like is the power of the god's concept, The way they portrayed how you can borrow a Gods power is the reason I watch it and the power of God is pretty cool but the problem comes with it
The Bad Part:
I will start in episode 4... if I am right that is the wedding episode and... It's pretty stupid like who tf cares about that problem like the series starts with a Tournament arc that is very underwhelming and who tf cares about your problems and with Han-Daewi sick friend trying to make it sad when it isn't is just plain dumb! They did not make 2 - 3 episodes of us exploring the character like they explore the characters in the bad timing and the Fights are kinda boring I mean I know it's the martial arts but maybe they could spice things a bit more and watching a real-life a sports match is pretty much better. and the fights are too short it feels like they are in rushed and tbh there are too many characters and most of them are boring as hell

the story is ridiculous, and if they leaned into that more, the show would be pretty watchable. as it stands, though, the writing takes its stupid story way too seriously and it's really cringe. as much as i didn't like tower of god, it was definitely more watchable than this
