It definitely is worth it. The arc directly following anime is my least favourite one frankly speaking (still good though) but it gets pretty great later on. Btw, if you haven't seen OVA yet then don't, it contains big spoilers for the manga.
edit: btw. the anime covered about ~8 volumes of the manga and there are currently 32 volumes in print so you have a lot of new material if you decide to read

    I wished I hadn't seen it when I got to that part in the manga so I would suggest not to watch it :D

Yona of the Dawn is one of my favorite mangas. I believe that it is definitely worth the time/emotional investment! Especially since you enjoyed the show :D

omg it's absolutely amazing! I just started to reread it and fell in love with all the characters all over again. I highly recommend it.

The manga was the one that got me started on reading manga so it has a special place in my heart and even tho the show's over, the manga's still going. Yona has a HUGE journey ahead of her and YOU NEED TO CHECK IT OUT.

Manga is absolutely amazing is actually one of the most famous in japan! Heavily recommend it cause I feel it doesn't get the recognition it deserves here over seas.
